Glad my name is on that list.
It does raise a valid point.
Hit thanks shows appreciation.
Go shopping and not hit thanks ?
That shows ignorance.
My name is not on the list, for the simple reason that I have not read this post as I have been MIA. I do think that people have their own routines with thanks, some people thank everything and some people don't thank anything, often this is influenced by which device they are using (I cannot thank anything on my phone!), rather than the individual not showing appreciation/thanks. Can we all hug.100 -
The 2 for £1.50 offer on the Kids Apples packs in M has been withdrawn (and the same offer on the Kids Pears packs has probably been withdrawn as well), even though, in my M, lots of the packs were still marked as 2 for £1.50. They scanned at straight £1. You can still get 2 for £1.50 on packs marked with that price but will have to go via the staff as the SS machines (and the presumably the tills) are not taking any mbuy discount off. (That's because the products are no longer on mbuy and they have taken it off, even though they still have packs around marked with the mbuy pricing.)
It looks like the Savoy Cabbage is going up, or has gone up, from 51p to 63p. This is now showing on the SEL in one of my Ms, even though the stock itself is marked at 51p. That will probably scan at 63p I reckon. Again, if it does, and the product has 51p price on it itself, you'd need to get the staff to charge you 51p.0 -
Go to the mortgage board rather than the housing board.
He probably needs to use a broker, who will know which lenders will look favourably on it.
Thank you never been on mortgage board. Will be making my debut tomorrow.

I've long since thought that far too many people pay far too much attention to the thanks button/thanks given and what it means. Some people blindly thank every post as a marker of what they've read, some people won't thank a certain persons posts no matter how useful it is out of some contempt for that person. Really, it isn't a measure of anything at all other than who likes who.
I do think it's polite to thank a post or poster that you've benefitted from financially. I'm sure that's why it was put here in the first place. on this thread however, it's used as a popularity contest and that goes horribly wrong sometimes.
I'd be just as happy if the thanks button was removed. And I know it's easy to get hung up on small stuff but if an entity on a website hitting a thanks button is all you have to worry about.......can I swap with you?:rotfl::rotfl:
Hi haven't been on here a lot .....but seem to have caused havoc over a jokey post ....that's why the written word can be read in several ways .... It was meant as a tongue in cheek post to Henlens personally but seems to have opened a can of worms on thanks no thanks ... STOP WE ARE ALL GROWN UPS .....and if Henlans wanted to rip into me I am sure he would do so ...but he took it in the context I meant it in ....
Right now for the really important stuff ....how are you dear lady I have missed a lot of posts so I am behind on your treatment plan ?
Hope ds2 is keeping you on your toes0 -
Just wanted to say thank you Anon I followed what you said about the old mout and toffee apple stuff and it worked on two accounts
Ditto here as well, or at least its showing as claimed but I am always much happier when I've actually got cash whizzing towards the bank account. I did just one set and uploade on Q
In the queue at mr !!!!!! the couple before me had a trolley load and after the till girl totalled up, £85 worth, I thought I'd fallen back through some sort of space time continuum - girl handed over masses of little square mailing MOCs like the ones that used to come with mailings years ago and then the till spit machine must have given out at least 4 till spits ...
Mind you when I've tried to do enough basics shopping for 2 weeks worth of meals in Aldi and filled a trolley the most I've spent was just under £30 ....“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Does anyone know anything about mortgages for the self employed. I need pointing in right direction.
Son is after about 40% LTV but only gets first year accounts next month. He was also working on the books until feb but also company director. Affordability is no problem at all. He had thought about getting his step mum to get the mortgage but I pointed out this would count as a second property for her so the dreaded 3% stamp duty. Our other though was a guarantor.
I was wondering if being a company director gives him employed ' status? That would mean just showing he has changed jobs.
The company pay his tax and in so to my understanding he could be termed employed.
Will go over to housing board tomorrow but wanted to ask here first.

I used a broker that I found by accident, I also aware that I had a terrible credit score (because of lack of credit use) and they got me a really good deal. They also ring every year to either recommend I look at x deal, or to say that I have the best deal available. I was rather impressed with them.100 -

No I aint sleeping with B :rotfl:
But yes I agree some people genuinely thank posts for being useful, others thank their mates no matter what bile they spout.

Then again I partake of less glitches than there are thread starters :rotfl:

Well thank you Patty but I think he's still busy keeping Wyre Borough Council busy.
I'll be honest with you Patty as I believe there's a good girl in you somewhere. Don't get caught up in the nasty stuff, it honestly isn't worth it. I have done before and it doesn't get anyone anywhere. We are talking about shopping which is great and exciting and by all accounts makes dreams possible for some. I'm surprised at some of what I read on here today but just chill and concentrate on your family. We all know how to save enough money to make family life good without being extreme.
My biggest laugh today was from Henlans....sorry Henlans. Who won't sell alcohol to people because he doesn't have a license but he will 'sell' to a shop.....the key word here is Selling. I think you'll find licensing laws don't care who you sell to. But it's ok because it's not tax deductible? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Who puts illegal alcohol sales through their books? I laughed more than Nerfy :rotfl:0 -
