    Hi All,

Managed to get 2 ale shops tonight (thanks to everyone). Would have got more but only 11 4 packs on the shelf.

Hope it works tomorrow (anyone know if it will?). Drank one can and it was pretty good, better that carling anyway

    Couple of fillers

    1x Silver Spoon Granulated Sugar (2KG) £1.08 £0.88
    1x ASDA Non-Scratch Sponge Scourers (10PK) £2.00 £1.00

Also bought 2 peperamis, red and green but multi didn't come off, SEL was 2 for a £1. Gift card opportunity but didn't have time to queue up and argue the toss.

    Cheers,

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Savvybuyer if you have caught up you will see the glitchy beer worked today, and also the other variety of hobgoblin; and surprisingly the gastro fish is still a goer.

Is it very likely that it may work Tuesday morning or more a one day wonder? I am unsure of Morries updates. thanks.

    In summary:

Cow & Gates/Hipp Organic/Heinz baby food jars may be over on the next update:(.
Some of the Pampers Active Fit may be £1 store-specific in M.
    Princes Mackerel Fillets 125g* 6p:D in M.
*Possibly all versions (to the extent that M have them).

I've still not caught up:rotfl: - I've only just arrived back from M but you've drawn my attention to this post anyway.

The Gastro fish is expected to work as long as the A mbuys stay off online - prices in M on those today are unchanged.

The beer will work today - and it's no surprise that it has as the M price data remains on last Wednesday. I think it will probably work on part of Tuesday morning but I think it is a great risk as I expect M prices to update to the new data sometime during Tuesday morning. Occasionally, they can be delayed until Tuesday night (indeed they have been settling around that but, even so, I wouldn't risk it) or even until Wednesday, but effectively I wouldn't risk it on Tuesday at all as you never know when the data might be updated - especially as you now need 3 hours to check and I expect it to stop by the afternoon. This is a glitch on one price collection so I expect it not to work from the update onwards.

In M itself, the single bottle of Hobgoblin Gold, along with lots of other individual 500ml bottles, is still on the mbuy according to what I'm seeing today in my Ms. It looks like the mbuy is due to continue until 12th June. I doubt the APG price collectors will make the same mistake again though.

The current time may be the first and last time that the Cow & Gates would have worked against M, or some of them might be working but others failing, that are on RTC in M. For example, the 30p RTC ones, my stores are now displaying full price and 10 for £6 across them although they were still scanning at 30p today. The Heinz 220g have got SELs of 97p today although the one that was available for me to check still scanned today at 50p.

It therefore looks like all of the RTC jars may be going back up to full price and expensive (but cheaper than full price) mbuy pricing tomorrow. In effect, unless you've literally got an M that closes at 11pm and happens to be within minutes of you, this is now off in M if this is the case. The APG, as always, will use SEL prices regardless of the real prices in M. I'm sorry that I am so late in the day - I have been trying to determine the prices of these and other items in M. I never know when items on RTC go back up in price:rotfl:.

One of the Pampers Active Fit packs is now reduced to £1 in one of my stores. This may be store-specific: it's possible that this or others of the Active Fit packs, the ones that (such as I have ever found them) are showing M price of £2 on my Avs M list, may be £1 in other Ms on a store-specific basis. As usual, the very time the RTCs become the cheapest we'd like, I think this will very probably now drop off the APG and be N/A on the update, even if (which I think is likely) some of them may currently be picking up M at £2. This is because they are likely to clear out of stores at the previously higher RTC prices and therefore are likely to have gone from the price collection stores. They will remain available to people in fewer Ms once they are at their best prices.

Note that I do still have some of these Pampers packs in my other Ms but they are showing £2 SEL. Two of them are now OOS though - so I'm going to be losing some from my normal Ms myself. I did find another pack - which I already have from elsewhere - in an M that I visited today but don't usually - there the SEL said £5 but it scanned at £2. So, there we have it: incorrect SELs around as well - more likely in places that remain with them in stock. Of course it may be better to buy in M at £1 if your store happens to have the right size and has that price. They seem to be generally £2 however, although they are now not as generally available as they were. I think all the Pampers Active Fits now, as from the next update, enter much greater risk territory and I now think it's likely they will begin to fail.

So, I shall now note "I think not" on the Avs M list but there's an unlikely(?) chance that you might be able to pick up one of them (more than one if you're extremely lucky) at £1 in M but I think that will depend on being store-specific.

Of course, I ought to be doing what other people do and just post a loud, prominent Pampers Active Fit 4 (24) pack or whichever one it was - M £1!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Trouble is I think that, in another M where it is still in stock, it is £2.

I think that, even at 25p, all of us that bought them have paid way over the odds on Princes Mackerel Fillets:rotfl:. I now have the Curry Sauce version at 6p:D (the more popular versions have clearly sold out in so far as they were put onto my store's shelf), and I assume that the other sauce versions, such as they are available anywhere, are also now 6p? It may be that the other Princes products on reduction have now gone down further in price, but I suspect they are almost nowhere to be found now. I do not know whether all 25p products have gone to 6p or, whether, for instance the Princes Pink Salmon that went to 40p has also gone down proportionately in price. I suspect that the chances of having a store with them now will be very small. I wasn't even looking for Princes Mackerel Fillets and didn't have them on my outstanding items:rotfl:. I just happened to walk into the right aisle and see they had gone to 6p, purely by chance.

Terry's Chocolate Oranges have gone down to £1, however have they downsized?:( It looks like they have:( - they are now 157g according to what is printed on the packaging. So, it seems that they've gone from 175g to 157g - and it's as if they seem to think that, if they change the weights like this, we won't notice it has happened:D.

Can I just apologise for not thanking anyone who thinks they should be thanked.

I tend to read the thread in print mode whilst at work and can't really interact.

    Love you all :A

    Thank you and good night.

In the large A there were lots of RTC soups, tinned, packets, and cup a soup own brand types, 29/31p box.

    hth

Was just about to say this too. There was also lots of noodles, rice and snack pot type things and some of the tinned pastas. It was all in the same aisle at mine. Threw me a bit as I used to add some smart price noodles as fillers but the chicken ones were 10p in one store and the curry 10p in the other. The normal own brand beef noodles were 13p in both. A lot of the dried Good for you pots were RTC, with cous cous, bulghur wheat etc.

Also Cadbury Animals or Dinos 6 pack were 50p each. :EasterBun
