How did it go Westie?
Very well, thank you. A lot more people turned up than we expected, and I think we blown the third years out the water  Talking to our tutors the feedback was good, reckon on 85% which aint bad for a first attempt  Shame my last train home was early as students and tutors were about to hit the town. I'll have to arrange something for next year
A few double vodkas before it started made me more relaxed :rotfl:Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Dauphine is a sort of TdF lite, a kind of last warm up before the real thing. Froome will be riding it. I have secret hopes that Mr TM is actually a pro
Being fed has been great. DH's mum used to cook for a living so it will always be good. Old fashioned, homely meals and so tasty.
Big hugs to ILTS and your DD, such a sad time for you x0 -

So pleased you posted Westie, I've been looking out for you. Not bad at all for first attempt :T :T
Oh well, so you missed last train home, maybe a few more double vodkas to enjoy the celebrations and a sleep over with someone, somewhere. It must be with someone you know of course X
There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.0 -

I so identify with heartache.....there's no other way to describe it.......it's so deep within you:o
It's just horrible isn't it,my heart really does break for them as nothing I can say or do will bring nan back and although I am trying to be positive for them and telling them nan wouldn't want them to be sad it's just so freakin hardOne cannot change the past, but one can ruin the present by worrying over the future.0 -

Stalker :eek::eek: my fellow students know not to photograph / film me, so chances are I'm not to be seen. I had to tell the couple of first years that we got to photograph the event that I would pay them not to photograph me :rotfl:Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
