Oh yes it could backfire, like when my dh told the 2 youngest boys who are Ipswich fans that if Ipswich got into Premiership he'd buy them a season ticket each. Needless to say he had to buy one himself as they were too young to go on their own. Talk about Costa packet :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I think you have been had there ;)

They don't sell prosecco in the champagne bar.

Just popping in to say good luck to our Sarahdol for tomorrow :heart2: Hope you get really muddy. And anyone else doing the race for life. A lady from work is doing it as well.

I've been on holiday. I didn't go far, only to the lakes but OMG I couldn't have picked a better week for the weather! it was fantastic.

Sorry to Emerald and Nellie but Tuesday is my clinic day :( I'm sometimes there for quite a while so wouldn't be able to guarantee anything other than late afternoon. Hopefully we will meet at Di's location soon. I would dearly have loved to meet you both on Tuesday.

Thanks fairclaire, but its not tomorrow it the 25 June :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hope you are ok.

TrulyMadly, glad your oh ok. xx

It was heaving...but I love the mix...all ages, students, people fresh from work having affairs:eek:, Italian tourists wearing leather loafers, pregnant ladies in Scarlett frocks.....the bouncer holding the lead of a little Jack Russell while someone is inside having a drink:rotfl:

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)
