Had a fab people watching night:)

Tanned young ladies with white hands:D students in tiny kilts and dr Martins, the foursome from Liverpool, males wearing red trousers with pink checked shirt and wives in classy black trouser suits with Jackie O sunglasses perched on their coiffed curls, a gaggle of teachers "pro rata" ering ever other sentence:rotfl:.
What about the monobrow red heads in culottes....I wanted to sing "Valerie"......such a great night...the singer in the champagne bar doing Duffy.....over sized plastic shoes....who would have believed they would look so good on stick legs:D

Ya didn't spot 11 smartly dressed students dishing out tesco's second cheapest wine, bottles of bud and vodka did you?:rotfl::D
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I LOVE that breakfast bar VT.

First coat of paint has gone onto mil's walls. Will definitely need another one and possibly two as they were yellow. Tonight's dinner was salmon, mashed potatoes, peas and mushrooms followed by baked apples with custard :D No more painting (or feeding :( ) now until Tuesday.

Off into London to road test another hotel for you tomorrow TM - the Park Plaza County Hall. I don't think it will be any good for you as no hot tub, but I'm hoping for a good view of the city sky line. We'll be eating at Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa, which I'm also looking forward to :)
Hope Mr TM is ok. Has he entered the Dauphine this year?

Just popping in to say good luck to our Sarahdol for tomorrow :heart2: Hope you get really muddy. And anyone else doing the race for life. A lady from work is doing it as well.

I've been on holiday. I didn't go far, only to the lakes but OMG I couldn't have picked a better week for the weather! it was fantastic.

Sorry to Emerald and Nellie but Tuesday is my clinic day :( I'm sometimes there for quite a while so wouldn't be able to guarantee anything other than late afternoon. Hopefully we will meet at Di's location soon. I would dearly have loved to meet you both on Tuesday.

I think google will be your friend here, but i suspect you will need to give it a good rub down and start with an oil based primer. Should imagine you can use most things after that. Purely guesswork though.

I'd agree E :D once you rub that surface down it will take any sort of paint.

Anyway now you are finished your painting, how about coming to the Sunshine Coast to help an old friend out? :D :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I even have an awkward window to make you feel at home ;)

Oh dear poor mr TM , sounds like he was very lucky X

I'm trying to be strong but it's not easy , we said our goodbyes to nan this week and my dd (8) said she thinks her heart must have really broke as she has never felt it hurt so much :A

I'm not sure what's worse ...hurting for yourself or others......especially when DD is so young.

I so identify with heartache.....there's no other way to describe it.......it's so deep within you:o
