I watched Kingsman tonight ... I still have not got a clue what was going on
. Was it supposed to be a comedy, an action movie or just an opportunity to swear lots
. Very surreal.

I notice the big grin:D. I would love an opportunity to swear lots. Sadly I don't get it on this website, this little !!!!!! forum post thing:rotfl:.
(You know that's my favourite word:D. As far as this place goes... sigh:(:rotfl:.)0 -

Have I brought the thread to a halt again? My poor behaviour.(:D)
In M the Pringles look like they've shot up from £1 to £2.25!
But I think be glad that the 1Kg Carrots don't compare. They are now 80p:eek::eek: in M - such an expensive store! Even the whoopsies were 69p now:(. The Carrots look to me as if they may be on a new BC - trust if this gets picked up for the first time in ages now:rotfl:.
Or maybe even 87p:eek::eek::eek: - msm now says 87p, I may have misremembered!0 -

I notice it's my own thread. So, am I impliedly criticising myself? I think that's okay:). Criticising oneself. That's alright:cool:.
I'll let others get in edgewise now:rotfl::rotfl:, as I'm taking up four posts in a row:o:o:rotfl:.0 -

43p according to msm - probably the exact same price in Lidl, what a surprise! Were 29p (28p) some months ago?
It does seem M is the most expensive place in the country to buy 1Kg carrots now.
They do seem expensive on their veg. - are they having another "fresh is best" TV advertising promotion?
Over the tannoy came details of a pack of strawberries at "just £1". However, they are 227g - so, worse than the 300g packs that they offered us at £1 several weeks ago! I think just ignore anything that they want to promote. The strawberries are 270g in some other Ms but, still lower than 300g! So, instead of the strawberries, there will be lots of other items instead that I never hear them mention over the tannoy (maybe I'm not listening?). In all fairness, though, they did mention the alcohol packs at £10 and I do have those to put onto the list - there have been cheaper RTCs at much better price before elsewhere and in that sense £10 is a fairly bog-standard offer (aren't they all?, sigh) but I will have them on the list.
The Kids apples 8 pack and Pears 7 pack are on 2 for £1.50 mix and match. Along with another item that isn't worth mentioning IMO. This seems to be a good price for apples at the moment. Everyday Essentials apples are 62p in Aldi though - they are Braeburn as far as I have them, but may need some other type of apples and a bit more expensive at M at 75p per pack (on buying 2). Of course they want you to buy two to pay them £1.50. That's how it works!:(0 -
I think there were "more points" on all Free From items at M some weeks ago. However, it looks now to be that the points offers are no longer on (although admittedly I'm going by one store that isn't showing them anymore that it was showing them before - other stores weren't showing them in the first place). So, if the points are no longer on anymore - and I can't see any price changes - the entire Free From range isn't worth bothering with now:rotfl:. As the points offers are off, none of the items are as good as they were before!
That's it from me for tonight - I've posted way too many times:eek::eek:. I may go and work silently on the M list soon, or maybe tomorrow daytime:).0 -

I enjoyed it. Sort of a young persons bond film'ish.
Sort of associated with a swearword itself nowadays isn't it? Everytime someone says that - or even "twelve o'clock-[approximate.]", I now think of... but, anyway. That never happened prior to the mid-1990s, since when this association has been created. When you say i*h, you may as well be saying [the S-word].
"The S-word:D:D" - that's a phrase I never say!:D:rotfl: (Just forced on here, as they won't let me write the word.)
If it's got lots of swearing in it, then I definitely want to see it:D - it's probably got more "context" in it than that though, not just a swear-fest (but nothing wrong with that IMO - and enjoyable in the right places;)).
I nowadays say "about twelve o'clock", rather than "twelve o'clock, er... yuck, ish:eek:". But that's probably just me. I have problems with one of the items in M - the Party Candle Ish (it's a candle that's got the number 40, for people of about 40-ish). Might be well be called a Party Candle S**t (sorry). I think the Party Candle [substitute for swearword] is now unavailable in the vast majority of Ms (I've no way ever of knowing whether that's really the case of course) - I haven't seen it for ages, but I'm sure one store here or there will, even now, still have it, at some point and at the 33p it's long been, on my list.
And then they have the Bob Martin Poop Bags. Tbh, that's even worse! I'd rather have the swearword:eek::eek:. Just sounds very childish, the word "poop" - and I'm not the only person in the world to think it's even worse than the swearword. Well, it isn't and it isn't. Depends on where you are and whom you are with - as the swearword if said out loud in public when a child is nearby you, might be uncomfortable whereas the word "poop" isn't, although, normally, the swearword isn't of that strength. I must admit I sometimes write something else down on my notes from M instead of the description M Poop Bags:D:D. But, then, I can!:)0
