I pre-empt the question: how likely do you think these will compare?

I don't know. I thought RTCs compared, but I must admit I'm unsure now, given that the I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light (500g) did not compare against M despite being on £1 RTC in more than one store. Aunt Bessie's Roast Potatoes did (ages ago) and Dettol Sanitiser also did. Baylis & Harding gift set also did - although it picked up £2 price instead of £1 (maybe that wasn't marked as RTC in the store they got the £2 price from? I did see one M once that had a £2 normal SEL and no indication of RTC on that). (I've also seen Aunt Bessies that have just had normal £1.50 SELs - ages ago.)

There's nothing in the T&Cs of the APG though to say they exclude RTC prices - as far as I understand it, they are included just as any other price and it does say they guarantee to be 10% cheaper - so they wouldn't be if they excluded RTCs and didn't mention any exclusion in the T&Cs.

Some of these individual items - and they vary a lot depending on what has happened to be left in my stores - are duplicated in a number of my Ms - none of them are in all four though and some of them are in just one of my four stores (but I think they use six, but then I don't know what set will be available in their collection stores).

I know one of my stores had about two of the Cow & Gates. In total. One of them had quite a number though - and if I hadn't used that store, I would be missing quite a few. That said, I did pick up a number in another store (many of which were in the first, but extra ones as usual) - and then a couple more, that I didn't have anywhere else, in the fourth store. I get the impression there are still some I have not got in any of my four check stores, and therefore I'm not complete. I did think about travelling out to a further store, but it was late in the day by this stage, would not have got there much before closing time and didn't seem worth it just for these items (although I bet I would have found much more there besides these items:rotfl:, I always do - every store gives me more!). Unfortunately I don't know what Cow & Gates might have been in the blank space left on one of the shelves in one of my stores, where there were now no SELs and just an offer banner continuing along the shelf. Could have been some 30p RTC Cow & Gates in that part of the shelf, but all the jars and any SELs that may have been there, in the half metre or so of space, were no longer there when I visited, and of course I don't know what may or may not have been there when I wasn't there earlier. So, I'm left without information again - and left with no stock and no SEL, so - try and work out what that item and price is then:rotfl::rotfl:! It could be they just never put anything onto that part of the shelf in the first place. Hopefully some that may have been OOS in that store and no SELs for them any longer were found by me in one or more of my other three stores.

    ChelseaFred:)

    I'll not bother with M at £2 then:rotfl::T.

5 crispy chicken at £1.50 is good - especially if you get £1 off. I think I go for 24 dippers at 82p though (bet they are now hard to find - or maybe very easy in the very few Ts at all that may have any of them), rather than 42 at £2:eek:. 24 at 82p = under £1.44 per 42. So, I don't see any point in overpaying by just over 56p in order to get £1 off the bill on those (means your coupon in effect is reduced to being 44p off). Ideally, we need items that don't exceed the £5 spend by very much, if at all.

Yes, indeed. The impression I was left with seems to have been right.

Here's one that I've found on msm (the only one I can find on there?) and I haven't got it in any of my four stores at all:rotfl::

Cow & Gate Summer Fruit Salad 4mth+ (125g)

    Store_8.15px.png
    [Strike]65p[/Strike] 30p 24p / 100g Valid until 28/08/2016
    Store_2.15px.png
    65p any 12 for £6.00

So, I know nothing about this (I'll add it to my list in due course though). And use of four stores has failed to pick it up (I assure you I did give each shelf in each store a very thorough and complete look - methodically taking details of every one that was there, I don't do this "fail to put offer price onto the SEL of one item in a range" thing:rotfl:. I am complete in my collection of the incomplete information available in my stores. Definitely no Fruit Salad, or Summer Fruit Salad (be pedantic), SELs with 30p in my stores).

You would like to hope that another two stores = their number of six would have picked this one up. However, they could have a completely different range to me. They could have a range that I have not got, have some that I have got but not have some that I have got. They might have the Summer Fruit Salad as I've not got it:rotfl:. However their stores could happen not to have it in any of them and they could end up N/A the same as me. This is not to say the Cow & Gates generally are risky. It's just that I didn't have this one. I picked up quite a lot from my stores - but maybe I did not, as maybe they are far more out there somewhere? But you'd hope that, with my fair number from four stores, they would have quite a number from six. Just be thankful this isn't TBG with only three stores:rotfl: - and that none of them would/should be taken there as they are all marked "RTC" on the shelves (TBG says it excludes RTCs).

To think I've only got the Mango one because I happened to visit a fourth store - and that that one isn't on msm so, had I stopped at three, I would not have had it at all:eek:! And Cauliflower Cheese I've only got in one store too so... if I'd gone elsewhere... (and if they didn't have it)! The price collectors could have Cauliflower Cheese in several of their stores and not have one of my duplicated items at all. The ones I've listed are probably all a somewhat greater than 80% chance of comparing, I don't know. That means most might work with no problem, and maybe all of them will work. But that the odd one might be N/A if they didn't have it in any of their stores, so there's a chance (not likely) that any of them would fail. It's not likely that any one of them would fail - but it's likely one of them would do so. If that makes sense. Unlikely. But that unlikeliness may affect one or two.

If however the APG collectors don't pick up what they know to be RTC prices at all, then these items don't stand a chance.

:idea:Maybe there is a womble with some of them on which, if it shows some comparing, would show us some that are safe.

Anyway, my previous posts are what I've found in M (in so far as I've noticed it from all the scattered information throughout my notes - possible the odd one or so more could turn up later as and when I go through what I've written down in detail). I couldn't get everything in the four Ms I've used. I've had a good try. I did the best job I could:rotfl:.

M Bright Jumbo Mug 13p. Best of luck on finding this one.

Yes, I did misremember. The 1Kg carrots I have written down as 87p. So I did (of course) get what I believe is the right price. Anyway, I'm going to bed now - so see you later:wave:.

    Morning.

For anyone who hasn’t got enough wine :) the 6 for £25 wine and 2 for £10 offers look to be ending today.

    http://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls87268

At a quick look, not a lot of comparisons but 2 that should hopefully compare to Morries

The Cono Sur Bicicieta Viognor and Cono Sur Bicicieta Merlot (bottle £6) v £5 in Morries
    £36 v £30 Morries plus 10% - which i am informed makes it £2.67 per bottle

The Barefoot Zifandel is showing £6.50 for Tesco on Mysupermarket which would have been a better return, but on Tesco website it's £5.50 on offer 

The Youngs Gastro offer 2 for £5.00 appears to have missed the morning update.

Best comparisons the Basa Fillets dusted with S&P
    Asda £6.96 v £4.00 in Morries, Tesco & Sainsbobs

    Basa Lemon and Tempura Butter
    Asda £6.96 v £4.00 in Morries
