    Morning :)

    And 2 for £5 Toiletries – VO5 products

    http://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls87342

All individually priced at £3 in Asda. Some items £2 in Tesco and some on 3 for 2 (EDIT but 3 for 2 wont work out for APG).

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=V05

So we should get selected products 2 for £2.60 after APG :T

Anyone got time to look at which ones compare

    Nice one izzey:T:T

I am sure all the folks upset/feeling emotional/needing support would love to have a HAPPY DAY

    Morning all :)
A bit grey and cooler here today but not raining (yet). Must admit to a little chuckle when I read about the dentastix:D
I don't go to either Pilates or Aquafit last week due to work. Have now done both this week and I ache all over :rotfl: Now hastily rearranging today's plans so that mullets are included.

OH has a bit of a dilemma. He has been looking after his parents for about 3 years and for the past year has been getting carer's allowance. his mum was admitted to a nearby care home in October last year and his Dad spent a few weeks there also but then went home. He has cancer and a weak heart and OH shops, cooks and takes him to appts and to visit his wife. He is in quite a lot of pain as he has a suspected thrombosis in his leg ( not for the 1st time. ). Oh usually has Sunday off and his brother and wife who live about 30 miles away come over.
This week they swopped Sat for Sunday and my husband took him a sunday lunch and when he saw him on Monday he said he had enjoyed it and oh saw no evidence he hadnt eaten it. On Monday DD had a false alarm that she was in labour so we spent the afternoon at hospital. On the way home we got a call to say his brother and wife had picked up his dad and taken him to their house to stay as he is not eating! We presumed it was for a few days but he called yesterday to ask us to go to his house to discuss his dad staying there for the foreseeable future.
Oh as you know is a recovering alcoholic and is in a right state. His Mum's health is improving and she actually went out last week for the 1st time and oh was thinking she may even be well enough to come home soon so they can be together.
His brother is talking about stair lifts etc as the bathroom and bedroom in his house is upstairs and father and mother in law live in a warden assisted flat. His dad has a care package and if he needs more help they will give it.
Every time my brother and sister in law visit and fil is ill they ship him off to hospital and tell us he is going to die. He is an old man with an illness and Im not sure if my bil is putting pressure on him to stay with them.
Not sure what tactic to take when we go for a meeting with him tonight ( at the flat not his house as we thought it best not to discuss too much with fil to start with) They have financial power of attorney and health one has been done but not enacted.
    Its a worry.

I really do not know what to say to this. You get everything thrown at you :(

I think you need to get someone independent to talk to your fil, someone that he is not emotionally attached to. I think that is going to be the only way to get him to say what he wants. It could be that he simply does not want to live alone, or it could be that he is being pressurised, but you need to get to the bottom of what HE wants. Does he realise his wife may be coming home in the near future?

My in-laws live in their own house but have my youngest brother in law living at home still. I see a lot of evidence that they could not manage without him, it could be that it is getting to be a struggle for your father in law. As for him not eating, could it simply be that he could not remember eating his dinner, or could not tell them what he had?

All I can say is you need to make the right decision for HIM, not for anyone else concerned.

I think you are on the wrong thread, this thread is about life in general, not just glitches.
