Evening all.

Di have been thinking of you today. xx
Think I am out of the running for the first strawberry, bargainqueen is way ahead than the rest of us, proper fruit there already. Although did I hear they have been inside over winter.
DM I think we need a roll of sellotape and a punnet of red ones. :rotfl:
I have workmen coming tomorrow to fit my doors. :j To say I am a little excited is an understatement. Will be just the worktops and sink after that. Oh and the cooker which I am resigned to the fact it wont be here until June. At least I can start filling my larder if the door is on.
Might be a trip to IKEA on Monday for shelving. 0 -
Evening
I'm sure Di won't mind. I had a brief message to say she's still breathing. I had asked her last night to let me know if she was still breathing at some point after her op. I meant it in a jokey way as in don't be worrying about sending messages, just let us know you're still breathing.
Well, bless her heart she did and she is :heart2: that's all I know. I wish her a really speedy recovery..........oh and a very long, hot summer in which to enjoy it0 -
Thanks lovely! :ALS pepsi max 24 tray £5 morries, not town one the other one i saw them today
Definitely won't get there tomorrow, maybe Saturday if I get chance. Definitely need some. Shame they haven't got them in town one.
Sorry your foot is still sore vt, must be very frustrating. Really hope you start to be in less pain soon.vanilla_twist wrote: »Yep, I saw the boot full of chocs. Fab buy as will still be in date (by a day) when N wants to use them.
Was a lovely surprise as yes, my foot is very painful at the moment which I wasn't expecting 3 weeks after op. I suppose they disturbed a fair few different muscle groups. Am being a good girl and taking paracetamol at night now coupled with pounds hops ibuprofen gel which is a marvel at the cost.
Hairdresser has been and I think I am a bit darker this time. Was platinum blonde until 5 weeks ago so takes some getting use to but a nice change.
Off to read back which I don't think will take too long.

Went to Aqua Zumba tonight. Was hilarious! Also enjoyed normal Zumba last night. Tomorrow I'm trying Zumba step! :rotfl:0 -
naebarric - were the chocolates in A'ford or F'stone debenhams please? I thought they would be quite good prizes for a charity rafle.
I had a call from hopoint - they are repairing my tumble drier at the end of May. DH answered the call I told him to tell them we wanted a new one as it was not fit for purpose. They said it had to be a repair and this all had agreed with trading standards so we let it go. Wished I had insisted on a new one even though mine is over 5 years old.
Hiya mattie, how's you?
Chocs were F'stone. I wouldn't bother to go though as although there were quite a few there, they were being put under the counter at 5.20pm for the staff. I just happened to be in the right place at the right moment. Sorry.:(
They are going to be a centrepiece at DS1's wedding. I found an acrylic tower stand on fleabay today really cheap, so will be creating a masterpiece.:rotfl:

I know! What's going on there? I think BQ must live on the sunny side of town :rotfl::rotfl: Although to be fair mine were being overshadowed by weeds before last weekend :eek:0 -

Regarding washer/dryers... Do you not recommend them?
I've not got one but was thinking about purchasing the hotpoint 7kg washer/dryer from Currys!
I had a hotpoint on order from currys but this was when big campaign was going on and everyone told me to avoid. Paid a bit more and got an LG washer dryer. I really love it so easy to use.
Saying this I have had hotpoint since 1984 and never had a problem.

Thanks for letting us know FC XI, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
