If they dont need storing in the fridge why not just take them back?
You think how I think
.
I may have to enlist family anyway now as I have, ahem, since had it reported
that CoS offers are not 100% the same for all people .
Lesson learned - always get family members to check their accounts before shopping for them ...

naebarric - were the chocolates in A'ford or F'stone debenhams please? I thought they would be quite good prizes for a charity rafle.
I had a call from hopoint - they are repairing my tumble drier at the end of May. DH answered the call I told him to tell them we wanted a new one as it was not fit for purpose. They said it had to be a repair and this all had agreed with trading standards so we let it go. Wished I had insisted on a new one even though mine is over 5 years old.0 -

350g Cheerios worth £2.00
Kingsmill thins worth £1.00
Sabra dip worth £1.90
Castello blue cheese worth £1.50
1 litre Cravendale milk worth £1.15
Munch Bunch Squashums worth £2.00
Total of £9.55 of groceries for free
[...]
However, I see things slightly differently. It's "worth" that high amount at, allegedly, expensive muggle prices. However, on Elite prices:
350g of Cheerios should cost no more than 70p and even that is on the high side. It's "worth" whatever someone will pay for it. Well, I wouldn't buy 350g Cheerios at £2 and, tbh, would struggle even at 70p, so... no Cheerios for me:D.
Kingsmill thins - probably worth about 9p.
Sabra dip, don't know what that is - but probably no more than 25 pence.
Castello Blue cheese should be no more than £1 offer price - and even that is in excess of my £5/kg that really should be downgraded these days as I bet these are very small cheeses. Should be about 70p.
Cravendale milk - the 2litre should be about 50p - therefore 1L is "worth" 25p. On milk at the moment, some stores seem to think 89p for 4 pints is good. However, 7 pints (2x3.5) are currently available for £1 from Farmfoods. Therefore, admittedly although it is not Cravendale, 4 pints of milk should now be under 57p before it is seen as any good and not the hugely expensive 89p at all:rotfl::rotfl:.
Munch Bunch Squashums are clearly not worth £2 as they were £1 offer in M a few weeks ago. Therefore that is the price that we should expect to pay - and should never buy them at any other time - and even then it's a bit of muggle's £1 offer. Should have been 10% cheaper via A - now gone up to £2 in M but I would never buy at £2. Therefore, 90p at a push for these. In fact, they are expensive branded items even at that price, for what you get IMO - that amount of drink or yogurt stuff ought to be worth about 33p.
Therefore, a total of £2.32 of groceries for free (and not the vastly exaggerated £9.55 at all:rotfl:).
Maybe I just don't know about the true value, or 'worth', of anything at all and perhaps they are just disposable groceries to me and I don't have any brand loyalty and therefore value the brands at nothing when in fact they are hugely valuable. (The brands are certainly worth a lot in goodwill to their owners.) Again, however, my expectations have been depressingly lowered in total cynicism and I'm just being derogatory about everything:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -
Hi BQ, yes got home safely thank you. Most of the fans stayed in the ground with it being the last home game of the season I think the players and their families come out onto the pitch? So there were no queues for the soccerbus and trains:) Had a really good time and enjoyed the atmosphere even though it wasn't the greatest game, oh & I think you wish for no injuries was grantedbargainqueen8 wrote: »i bet they are ready to start picking as we go on holiday.:rotfl:

Just letting you know I may miss out Monday next week at M as I have a lot of other things to do around that time of the week. So, I'll let all my hard work from Wednesday, yesterday, once I get round to updating that, just go out of date:(. It may be just a single chance for me to pick everything up on Wednesday next week and not use Monday as a springboard to Wednesday at all. However, each collection should be complete in itself and not require another one to get things right, so, just Wednesday will be okay.
There is one thing that is almost certain: I think you definitely need to go to M on Monday as they will have the best offers and prices on some items that they have ever had and there will be a glitch that will work on them absolutely brilliantly - you can almost guarantee that something great (and that is a word I very rarely indeed use) will be on Monday that will last all of a day or two and it's bound to happen on whatever day I am not there.
I still haven't got round to Wednesday's updating and I should remove the Dove Cream product (250ml) as I believe that is now £1.74 and not £1 anymore. So just letting you know you probably shouldn't try that one that's on the list and will be there, even though I think it's expired, until I get round to updating it:cool:.0 -
