Between you and me then E.
Blossom is looking good on the apple trees. I don't know how long the flowers have been on the strawberries as they are partly hidden by the raspberry canes and the twigs Mr TS uses to stop the cats doing there business.
I will have to check them every day now then :rotfl::rotfl:What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
So you and DM won't be in the running for the first strawberries then.
You might not believe it but we are still waiting for some of our trees to blossom.....we are a month behind where we normally are this time of year. I haven't even started my hanging baskets as there's a ground frost predicted for later in the week.:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

There is a lot of reading to be doing, when I should be preparing for my trip to London tomorrow.
Tweets and TM had inspired me to get on the scales and it was a  moment (I really thought my clothes were shrinking in the dryer!!). I am now on a diet and power walking.. hoping my willpower lasts longer then a week!:D:D:D

Can I ask for a little help?
I have an friend whose son has had his nursery time reduced to an hour a day The son has been diagnosed with autism which causes the problems highlight by the nursery
Is there any way my friend can challenge this
Friend will not claim benefits. I looked on disability forum but it was mostly about money so did not ask there but will look into it again
Thanks
Hi. DS2 has special needs and is at nursery. We were advised to claim Disability Living Allowance for him. Whilst we didn't need the money at the time, simply being in receipt of this does ensure he receives the 15 hours free childcare at 2 years rather than 3 years old. It is an incredibly laborious and painful form to complete though - I had several bouts of tears.
We were also recently signposted to the Parents Forum in our county, which co-ordinates the professionals involved in DD2s care. Suddenly we had people visit the nursery and explain to them how they can apply for additional funding to pay for the extra staff to help care for DD2. I think we could have self-referred to this service. Our private nursery have been awesome throughout all of this. If your friends nursery isn't, maybe time for a change?
As an aside, we are also kitchen less. The new range cooker arrived today, but with all the packaging on it won't go through the kitchen doors. It's now sat in the lounge/diner, mocking me.0 -

Too late for my beloved 'home' team, I could cry, but tbh they have been pants all season. To make matters worse, I support Norwich too, oh woe is me
It's been a real roller coaster this past week TS, but I know now that I have to wait half an hour after having a coffee before taking my pressure. I would swap to decaf but I fibd that disgusting  :rotfl:
Hope Mr TS can keep his pressure down too, it is a worry especially as you get older and maybe over doing things
His could easily be connected to coffee, he drinks ground coffee really strong, there were a couple of spikes in his BP yesterday wonder if they were connected.
He still has problem with his leg with the bad varicose vein, the swelling has now gone down to his foot, he keeps himself so fit unlike me but seems to get all these problems.
Yes keep off that coffee and stay calm hope yours comes down too. xx0
