M&s Credit Card - £30 Voucher
Comments

Don't think so. Just one lot of 500 reward points.0
-
I got a £5 worth 500 M&S points voucher received with card.
Don't we also get, another 500 M&S points when we use the card for the first time?
Quote MSE,
"Plus the first time you use the card to buy most things at M&S (including food), you get 500 M&S points worth £5".
It isn't a plus as such, it is a 500 point voucher which equates to a £5 reward, you don't get it as well and you need to spend it at M&S.

To get this you have to use (handover or scan at the self serve) the 500 points coupon that came with your card. Mine had a useby date of 19 June so don't delay.
I think this is probably offered to everyone, not just those who applied through MSE, whereas I think the £30 was an MSE exclusive, although I'm surprised when companies directly target MSE customers, won't most of us take the freebies, use the deal minimally and then move on?
I got £100 for opening an M&S current account that I have never used and probably never will and might one day use it as a sacrificial account to switch it somewhere else offering an incentive. Was also surprised that I now have my £30 voucher - very efficient.0 -

My £5 voucher is also valid only till 19 June. Easy to forget; so have kept it in my wallet to use next time I go to town.
M&S Monthly Saver pays 6.00% AER interest. Higher than other banks.
So I will keep the account going with two active £2 DDs to charities in place.0 -
SUCCESS!!!! Got voucher email 2 days ago!!!! Only £30 but im guessing the bonus £5 is paid on a quarterly issue of statements!!!0

The 500 points voucher comes with your card, and needs to be used at a store or online before the expiry date, the 500 points will be added to your account Rewards and be included when they send out the next rewards run in the post.
See posts 37 & 44 above.

Same situation for me. I assume that's the standard procedure as the £30 offer won't always be available.
It did say on the MSE link the voucher would be emailed automatically. No idea of time-scale so it would be useful if any members who have received it inform others on how long it took from receipt of the credit card.
Applied for card 5th May
spent 16th May 6p banana out of M&S, voucher via e-mail on 11th June

I spoke to a nice lady at M&S Customer Service.
She looked at the MSE offer page and agreed that the first time you use the card to buy most things at M&S, you get 500 M&S points worth £5.
The reason I did not get was because it was that this was not in the specific link to M&S

I don't see the mix up. You didn't use the voucher, that's why you didn't get the points.0 -

I did not have to use the voucher that came with the card.
I quote from my previous post
So the total would be £40:
£5 worth 500 M&S points voucher received with card,
+ £5 worth 500 M&S points for first time use of the card at an M&S store
+ £30 M&S voucher in a few weeks or by 22 Aug at the latest.0
