There are other creditcard with £0 fee BT are currently on offer, is it not a better option, unless you have swaped all of this opportunity.

I have got one CC that I use all of the time (for cashback) and had one lying dormant, so git rid of the dormant one to get the voucher. Not that the card has arrived yet

But have you read this before making decision.

To me for just £30 in term of voucher is minuscule and will be dwarfed by other available option considering the offer to credit cards is currently booming. Not to mention you will be credit searched which will impair your credit worthiness to some degrees.

There are much better option in the long run e.g cashback, zero percent for purchase, 0% on BT transfer, money transfer. Just a few to name.

I used to have more than a dozen creditcards but because some are not offering a good incentive anymore, I canceled them.

I am trying to understand why would you not want to open an M&S card for £30 + £5 vouchers if like me, you have no outstanding balance on a credit card to transfer (I have a barclaycard cashback card for spends that I clear monthly) and am unconcerned about credit checks as I have a rating of 999 (for whatever's that is worth) and no need of loans or remortgage- have no real money though so a free £35 for yummy food or Christmas gifts is a no brainer?!

However, I have my card now but am concerned that the bonus vouchers are not going to come through as the application link you follow now, looks very different to the initial link from Martins email that I applied from a few weeks back. Will update if it comes through.

There are much better option in the long run e.g cashback had them, zero percent for purchase debating whether I can be bothered with this, 0% on BT transfer don't need, money transfer. Just a few to name.

I won't be keeping the M&S card in the long run but £30 is £30.

    EXACTLY!!!!

I am completely debt free, have a mortgage, savings, bonds and shares so i agree with VIOLALASS, its still a free £35 when spent with the voucher

Also got my Dad to apply for one so when the total £70 comes through i will be spending mine on the ingredients for my brothers wedding cake which im making!! :):):)

My Grandad always said, 'look after the pennys, the pounds will look after you'!!!!!

Got my card a week or so ago with a £4k limit, which I'm quite pleased about. Just paid for a holiday on it to kick start the slow stooze (no extra charges for paying by CC before anyone barges in).

Looking forward to spending £30 on a free treaty M&S food shop when the vouchers come through and I'll earn 4% interest on £4k for a year-ish by saving up my stooze pot in my Lloyds TSB account, which is another free £160 so close to £200 for free which is well worth it to me.

My mortgage interest rate is less than 1% pa and I have a bit in savings so don't forsee needing to borrow money in the short term so any minimal impact on my credit rating is not a concern.

Still awaiting the first person to confirm they've received their £30 voucher. Getting quite impatient......

I'm also using the card for stoozing with a £4k limit so well worth getting.

If it's going to come with the quarterly points report then you've got a while to wait.
