Interesting point about the hedgehog fleas running up your dogs face etc
I think this is just a natural thing all creatures with very limited brain power do this , fleas jump off a dog and into grass (Why?)- I don't think they (The fleas) ever consider they are commiting suside they are not capable of thinking about things rationally.
It is like a natural thing for them to do.
  • did all the up-stairs yesterday afternoon...locked all animals out of the house as they seems to be flea free at the moment combed them last night and just afew dead one's...whoopi do...then had a shower and went to a barbeque...got back in around 1am went to sleep and have got up this morning without any new bite's so look's like the stuff from the pet shop has worked in the house as well...thank goodness...I have never had this problem before as the animals get fleaed regularly...just this year has proved a problem and an expense that I don't want to wish on anybody...in total it's cost me about £300-400 pounds over a period of 3 months...I never get another animal ever...as my oldest dog is 14 year's old now and my oldest cat is 16 year's old and all are over 10 year's old so in 10 year's time or maybe before that I will be completely animal free...and flea free...not that I don't love my animals I love then all to bit's but this last 3 months has putme right off...so annoyed with the vet...

    Back to the hedgehogs.....
  • and they eat slugs and stuff so if you use slug pellets u should probably stop as i think they can get secondary poisioning from eating poisioned slugs

might be wrong and confused, correct me if i am

You are correct, but there is a brand that is safe fot everything except for slugs and snails. We use it on our garden, and it does work.
