I've always wanted to go to Vietnam...and never understood why people avoided it. One day maybe I'll fulfill that dream
Now is an excellent time to visit Vietnam. Over recent years it has started to open up more to the western world making travel easier but it hasn't yet been ruined (as some parts of Thailand have) by mass tourism and commercialisation. I loved that there wasn't a McDonalds, Starbucks and fake Irish pub on every street corner.
However, it's a country which is changing quickly so I wouldn't wait 5-10 years to go. Get planning now.0 -
Thailand is one amazing country. We have just spent 10 weeks there and visited Khao Sok National Park for the first time. If you love nature and a less touristy part of the country, then you should check it out. I have included a link below of the place. Have a great trip, I am sure you will love it.
