I saw OP say they received "an unknown number on my mobile" - I read that as a number 'not in their contacts' rather than 'withheld'. I'm sure smitchy73 will be along at some point today to confirm either way

Ah yes I see what you mean. I just presumed it was withheld but here is hoping.

Sounds positive to me - the left hand never knows what the right hand's doing in cases like this. I was waiting for a £1k win cheque once and went round in circles, eventually being told they had my name and address wrong.

Have subscribed to thread, and will keep my fingers & toes crossed for you!

Yeah to confirm it came up on my mobile which was showing as 'unknown number'.

You really have to think of it as a marketing call and think oh well onto the next.......... Obviously hoping/wishing something nice turns up but try not to expect it.

Exactly - just try not to dwell on it and if something turns up out of the blue then it will be a lovely surprise! :T

For prize providers there can be all sorts of delays and stuff happening such as sorting out contracts/paperwork etc which a prize winner just won't be aware of. The most frustrating thing is simply 'not knowing', but from their point of view the 'winner has been notified' so that part is 'job done'. It's the next stage - sorting the prize out - that can take time and that's where the comp winner has to be more patient than they may wish to be :cool:

Don't give up hope! Just add a little reminder in your phone for 28 working days since you were first notified, and then put it to the back of your mind :beer:

Just a thought - sometimes they update the winners' names on their websites, so worth taking a look. Also google every variation of your name they may have used. Hope you're not a Jane Smith or something! Add 'ITV' to the search too.

If it's actually a physical prize it might be someone like this that handled a major prize for me, they also do Itv/Ch5 work http://www.element-london.com
