Hi guys!
I have read newbies threads and alot of others but haven't seen my same problem highlighted.
Moved to Truro 6 months ago, our estate is under management under Armtrac. I had 5 tickets and I failed one appeal so I just agreed to pay monthly. I have paid off one over a few months and now they want £50 a month for the other 4, 2 of which are my car and the other 2 are my company vehicle. My next door neighbour told me to just ignore from now on but I have agreed to pay in a couple of weeks for the next installment. £400 in total. Obviously I want to try and get out of this but my legal skills are utter pants. I think I am in a bad position as I have sent them my details and confirmed I'm the driver of the vehicle. Any tips from you pros out there? Should I just pay to save the hassle? I missed a payment and they sent me an email threatening to take me to court if I don't pay soon they will chase full amount. Bored to death of the contact between them and myself to be honest!
Thanks, Sam

interesting , how many payments do they want you to make in total?
Armtrac do not hold a credit services licence and could well be acting VERY illegally
now there is a thing with this company , its NOT a company , its a single trader
companies house check https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/search/companies?q=Armtrac+Services
and run him / the company thru the financial conduct authority
https://register.fca.org.uk/shpo_nosearchresultpage?search=Armtrac+Services

Wrong, your estate management company has contracted Armtrac to act as its agents in infesting the car parking facilities.Moved to Truro 6 months ago, our estate is under management under Armtrac
Why are you being ticketed?
is it down to non display of permit?
have you been issued a permit?
if its a permit, were you issued with a permit when you moved in?
if you didn't receive a permit when you moved in do the tickets relate to that period?
and the killer questions
Is this an allocated space/parking area?
- what does your lease/rental/freehold agreement say about parking?
is there a clause about taking reasonable action to ensure the smooth running of the estate ( ie a catch all) ?
My suggestion would be to look at the points raised above and stop paying them - unless youve signed something saying you agree to this situation you find yourself in, and if you have what did you sign and what did you agree to?From the Plain Language Commission:

Shirley , the task now is to have him arrested for the crimes he has committed
https://www.gov.uk/offering-credit-consumers-law
Offering credit to consumers: the law
You must be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to offer credit to consumers.
PS , his cop out is when accepting by CREDIT card , however you should do a s75 and get refunds
he would be mad , trying to take you to court to get that overturned

. What happens if we offer consumer credit without having registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)?
Offering consumer credit without registering with the FCA is a criminal offence. You can be prosecuted and fined or imprisoned.
In addition, if the customer fails to make the required payments, you cannot enforce the agreement.Save a Rachael

PG is right, what they are doing is illegal, and any agreement to pay is void. Invite them to cancel these charges or face being reported to the FCA for possible prosecution.
This is entertaining:

I sympathise with Armtrac Ltd but its a shame they didn't do a more detailed check when they came up with their company name in 2000. Armtrac Security Services have been trading under that name since at least 1992 - when the incident that was to become the stated case Arthur -v- Anker occurred.
And <splutter?#$$*ck> using the word "management" in the same sentence as Armtrac. What on earth were you thinking, man? Management?
No PPC manages. They "farm" the population for their cash.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -

This isn't the estate by Treliske is it?
Was your appeal failed from KBT Cornwall t/a Armtrac or was it failed by the IPC?
You should post up the correspondence between you and KBT. Could well be very interesting to see what they've been saying.0 -
Not sure what you expected Armtrac Ltd. to check. Armtrac Security Services is merely a trading name and there is no register of those, and I don't suppose thy had a website or domain registration in 2000.0
