esuhl - ?. I was just trying to point out that I - like many others I suspect - have neither the ability or know-how to do these things. So in my case it isn't really up to me what to do since I don't have the ability or knowledge (or time for that matter) to follow your advice.
no offence was intended - and none taken
Okay, but I just meant that you don't have to use the installable version and use a batch file. As I said, the portable version apparently works fine on Windows 10. But I haven't tried it.

Yup - don't know what's going on. Might try again.0 -
Windows Explorer / File Explorer from Windows 7 on wards can do basic CD/DVD burning. No need to use Media Player. Just send the files to the optical disc drive.Windows 10 - Media Player won't burn
Infrarecorder- seems to go up to Windows 7- I have to check to see if it is windows 10 compatible0 -
Sorry if this is overly simplistic or if there is a reason this won't work for you, but I just select the files I want to burn, click the share tab, then click burn to disk. Job done.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

wongata - sorry if I sound a bit daft, but what do you mean send to the OD? How do you do that? It would sole=ve my problem Would it be in MP30

peachprice - on the version of Windows 10 I am using the option "burn to disk" does not exist when "share" is selected. The option you suggest I found on "send to" which wongota suggested. As long as it goes in MP3 format I'm in business0

The files are not converted, so if you want to burn MP3 files you have to create the MP3 files first. BTW you never mentioned anything about MP3 files or audio until now.wongata - sorry if I sound a bit daft, but what do you mean send to the OD? How do you do that? Select the file(s) in question in File Explorer. Right click and from the menu that pops up choose the sent to option. From the sub menu choose your optical drive (your CD/DVD burner) - you need a suitable writeable disc in it. The files will be added to that drive. When all the required files are added to the disc navigate to it in File Explorer and there should be an option to write the files to the disc.
I'm sure you can find more detailed instructions on the net somewhere.0 -
Have you tried Deepburner, Imgburn or Infrarecorder portable yet?
Are you trying to burn a data CD of MP3 files, or are you trying to convert a set of MP3s into a waveform you can burn on an audio CD?0
