    Where has today gone?!?!

DD decided that instead of having all her hair chopped, she just wanted the fringe doing, and instead of it being blunt straight she wanted it slightly wavy for a more natural look. So that job is done, and I've discovered she does have eyes :o

Yard pressure washed into an inch of its existence. Took me 4 hours in the end and I was filthy, but its all clean now and I found lawn edging which I'm going to try and put around the edge of the beds to stop the soil washing away. Hopefully I have enough without having to buy more but we'll have to wait and see.

DD has been doing some ironing while I was in the yard. She decided to iron the stuff that was meant to be getting put on the washing line instead of the actual ironing pile but she has uniform for the week so I don't care :p I've had a nice hot bath, scrub myself clean, s&s the bathroom removing half the yard that had got in the bath with me :rotfl: Tidied up the kitchen, been out to collect a book from a customer, popped to the corner shop as forgot to get DD's packed lunch stuff, changed my bed and watched the last 5 minutes of the snooker.

Tomorrow is a work day, but I have a mountain of other jobs which also need to be done so I can see me juggling things tomorrow! Updating my list to see where I am

    Tue:
WORK - text 8b (returns, transfer money, pay bill, place order)
Laundry - dark bedding, light bedding, towels, throws, cloths, filthy clothes from doing the yard
Mr A shop - Booked for THURSDAY revise
    Top up money for DD
Change black ink & print instruction booklet for customer

    This week:
Laundry - curtains (MB, DDB, LR), Blinds, nets
    Clean outside front
    Phone VIP line
    Take birthday gifts to niece
Toots list jobs x2 - 1 down, shredding to do!

    Evening all

Managed to get to hairdresser and buy some cards, which need posting this week, and booked an eye-test for Thursday. Then abandoned shops and library as the wind and rain appeared. Oh well, always another day.

I have now been hit with a hay-fever attack, so have the dreaded sneezes and running 'taps' - sorry if tmi.

I cleaned out the cupboard under the sink and decanted all the odds of hand-wash into one container - it's a funny colour but will do.
I cleared out, cleaned and restocked cupboard in desk.
Tidied, cleaned and squeezed new stock into food stock cupboard.

I'm back from a great weekend conference. I even managed a 9 km walk with our group on Saturday :D

No word from DH since Saturday morning, so I take that to mean that he is still enjoying playing with his steam locos in Poland. He is due home on Wednesday evening.

ETA: I am relieved that he has sent me a text message this morning (with about 20 kisses!) and indeed he is having a wonderful time too :)

Thank you Natty for last week's lists and pigpen for this week's. It was lovely to come back to a clean, tidy house this evening. I have very little washing to do so may leave it until later in the week to make up full loads.

I've got plenty to keep me busy [STRIKE]tomorrow[/STRIKE] later today and Wednesday:
    - unpack (too tired now)
    - answer some emails (too tired now) and make phonecalls
    - do another translation job :)
    - sort finances
    - update travel expenses
    - avoid SW after having eaten a very large slice of cake today :rotfl:
    - do my vol job on Tuesday afternoon
    - prepare for my course on Wednesday evening
    - finish off a short presentation for Saturday and check my essay and application form
    - do some reading and make notes
.... and anything else that comes to mind.

(((Hugs))) to CY, Valli and anyone else who could do with some.
Lynnejk, hope your hay fever doesn't hang around for long.
    to HoneyBear.
LW, enjoy your new guest, and I hope Mr LW manages to keep the workmen out of your hair.
MMM, hope the new job has started well.
Nicki, I was going to try a pressure washer on our back yard, but having read your description I think I might not want to :rotfl:

It's a short week now, so I hope everyone has a good one.

    Morning

Good luck for today MMM. Feeling quite chirpy this morning, sun is shining and because of my efforts over the weekend the house is quite tidy and I am more up to date with job no. 2.

On the to do list this week are windows to clean and stuff to go to the tip. Need to do DHs month end and sort our May budget too. In theory this week shouldnt be quite as busy as the last few now that footie has finished and DS1 doesnt have any medical appointments.

Have a good day everyone - for those at work/college at least it's a short week!

Sorry I missed yesterday had family round at most points over the weekend, and doing stuff at mils and here so kept busy.
Thank you for the lists natty and pigpen, I'll be in as much as I can. At some point over the next few weeks will be swapping a spare room with ds2s bedroom so hopefully give him more space, his current room will be arranged into a neat place with book/DVD shelves, the stereo and the drum kit and not become a dumping ground. Well that's the plan anyway.
Still have loads of stuff to clear so it won't happen yet.

Need to get the sewing machine out later and I want to clear the ironing basket.

Thanks for this week's lists Piggers and a belated hello to everyone - I did what Piggers said yesterday!
We sold our house on Saturday! It only went up on Thursday. Must find a solicitor today, so my list involves ringing places called things like 'Shotgun, B*st*rd and Dribble!:rotfl:(No offence meant to any solicitors or family of solicitors, it is a 'Bottom' reference.)

    Morning all :D

ionafan - I was only filthy as I kept hitting the flower bed with it :o Although my trainers & jeans were soaked which is why I wore my 'mucky job' stuff which I normally do DIY in. They're going to be washed separately today as they're so dirty. No worse than going to the beach, but I know what's been on the mud

Hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes and good lucks to every one today!

Dailies are done (including computer stuff once I've posted this!), 1st wash load done and out on the line, 2nd load in now and I've even spent half an hour reading my book :D Now I'm going to quickly update my finances then get on with work as I have lots to do.
