Mac? That's not very mse is it, and from you xylophone!
Whilst Mac's dont seem to be very MSE, sometimes they are the easiest options for people with limited technological capabilites and they are better for a range of applications that PC's sometimes just can handle without spending the same amount on a PC as you would on a Mac. I have both a PC and a Mac and in the time I have had my Mac I have had to 'upgrade' my PC a couple of times over and the Mac is still going strong so £ for £ sometimes a Mac is a better option. In this case, probably not but I feel I need to defend the Mac.
Anyway, back on topic, its probably Rapport. I downloaded it onces (big mistake!) and it just made my computer crawl. So much so it was gone very sharpish. Same with Virgin Bulldog (assuming they still have that). It made switching on my computer a 5 minute process. If you have Bulldog installed as well, it may be worth removing that and seeing what happens.0
