    I want to:

    Go business class to Australia

Go on a safari in Kenya

Stay in one of those hotels that has your room right on the beach with a jacuzzi on the deck (maybe I might find one in Hawaiii and then combine...)

    Go surfing in Hawaii

Live in Vancouver and see a whale

See as many animals in the wild as I can

    Swim with dolphins

Own a large comfortable house and have kids and lots of animals in it

All my dreams are to visit/live in other places! :rotfl: Think I get this wanderlust from my grandma. Roll on debt free-ness.:T :T :T
What did I do at work before I discovered MSE?!

DFD - WAS: a while ago

NOW - not sure, due to boyfriend going back to uni for masters and now pgce. Worth it in the long run!
Proud to be dealing with my debts!

    2. Go to Peru and walk the Inca trails
    3. As above but in Mexico with the Aztecs :)
    4. See the Great Wall of China from space

Wow, some of your dreams are similar to mine! I want to do all of the above (except I would like to walk along part of the great wall of china rather than see it from space).

I would also love to visit India. I love Italy so I would love to go there again and spend longer in Rome and Venice. Also I have always wanted to try canoeing and go in a helicopter!

But I have already done a parachute jump, been to University, own a house, and have 3 children which were other important ambitions.

Go if you can get the chance! I went on a sponsored trek along the wall in 2000, it was absolutely fantastic.

I've been really lucky and been able to do a lot of travelling lately (on other peoples expenses :) ) - I got some great news recently that will pay off a lot of our debts, and after that my two dreams are:

    Holiday in Tokyo
Buy a 'doer-upper' flashy car, fix it up myself, and learn to drive the thing.

Interesting thread, so many travel-related dreams! I'm intrigued about the number of people who want to fly business class long-haul...save your air points for the upgrade, it's not worth actually paying for (unless you can convince someone else to pay for you!).

Mine are pretty much all travel-oriented:

    - live in Japan
    - travel round Alaska
    - travel round Sth America, maybe live there for a while too
    - actually, travel anywhere! To always have the money and opportunity to travel
    - write a novel (and see it published)
    - design my own home
    - learn to play the cello

    better get started!

    Ride a dinosaur.
"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."
  • I am just a simple lady (so th OH says)

Do a couple of circuits at Brands Hatch or any other circuit really on the back of Valentino Rossi's bike with him riding of course. Better get a move on though as I am getting on a bit and not sure how much longer I will be able to !!!! my leg over! :j :j :j
I USED TO BE INDECISIVE BUT NOW I'M NOT SO SURE!

Rich people tell you that money doesn't bring you happiness just so the poor people don't feel jealous.
  • Just seen they have put exclamation marks in place of my word. They must think I was being rude! Perhaps I should have said "cross my leg"

Sorry to be so depressing but I always wanted to:

Pay my mortgage off and retire at 50, oh- and be thin. I managed to pay my morgage off & stop work at 48 and I am a size 12.

Reason? My parents died & left me enough money to pay my mortgage. My spine was found to be so ****ed that I had to give up work for good & all the stress & depression caused me to lose weight.

Dont learn do I? Still scouring these boards to save up enough money for a house deposit for my son.
Tallyhoh! Stopped Smoking October 2000. Saved £29382.50 so far!
