As they are studios, the bedroom is just an area in the main living space, which does have windows for ventilation.

Wouldn't bother me, in fact it would be quite pleasant not to be sleeping in a draught!

This one isn't a studio http://www.galliardhomes.com/studio/off-plan/the-landmark/4136558, so unless there are skylights, it's going to feel pretty gloomy inside.

If you look at that floorplan, then ask yourself "OK, so where does the fridge/freezer go?" you'll quickly realise that it'll only ever 'fit' where it's in the way, or visible .... or shoved into one of the 'bedrooms'. Only other alternative would be to use it as a telly stand. There might be room on the corner of the kitchen run, diagonally opposite where they've got the table/chairs, but that depends on how big that space is in reality and how big your FF is.

Hard to tell as the photos don't match the floorplan.

Holiday Haggler I've been Money Tipped!
This used to be Whitbread's head office before they moved to Dunstable. It has became serviced offices for a while but has been empty for sometime. I think the studio with room for two beds is an facing an internal courtyard.

I couldn't live there. I'm pretty sure the lack of daylight would make me feel depressed. The images make the place look bright but I doubt they would be in reality.

I've said it before but I'm very glad I'm a Northerner if you Southerners are seriously having to consider places like this.

As a sweeping statement, Luton's a shytehole too.

Even years ago, I clearly remember, about 25 years ago in fact, I had a "car that stood out a little bit" - in my home town if I saw another owner of one I'd flash my lights and give them a wave - they'd do the same, we'd both smile and that'd be it.

I was having to stay in Luton for a few days for work and as I drove from the office to the (I swear it was a homeless hostel even then) hotel I saw a car identical to mine. Instead of waving, I didn't acknowledge them at all and drove straight past my hotel and did a circuitous route back to it as I thought "don't want them to see where I'm parking this, they'll be back to rob it in the night"

studio apartment, means really flat with a different name to attract more cash
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

So the view out of the only window is straight in to someone else's flat. Nice.
