I get them posted still, Perhaps like the inferior idiots they are another system glitch has occurred or they simply decided to save more money against the postage costs.0

All OK, and I have had the car for just over four years.
If I do a reg search on the DVLA site, I can see that my car is taxed and MOT'd as well.0 -
I had a reminder through the post for my "tax" which expired at the end of March.
Didn't stop me forgetting to pay £0 to not get a tax disc, though.

I had a reminder through the post last weekend to remind me to tax it before tomorrow. When you go onto the website to tax it, there is an option to click if you haven't received the reminder with the sixteen-digit reference, so you should still be able to tax it before tomorrow.
The website is www.gov.uk/dvla/vehicletaxchanges
Hope this helps0 -
Are you on direct debit? I don't recall getting a reminder but I pay by DD so it just continued straight into the next year.0

I am on monthly DD, so is it worth leaving it and doing a check on May 1st just to make sure that it is taxed for the next year?
Will I get a notification sent through to my email address like I did last year?0 -
I got an email on 1st April to confirm that it had been renewed, nothing before then0

I've been on DD for about 18 months and haven't had a postal reminder. Perhaps they only do it for those who pay in advance. Would make sense as a DD should continue as long as it needs to. I don't remember getting anything via e-mail 6 months ago, but they have my junk e-mail address so I might have missed it. They definitely carried on the tax after 12 months though.0

i can't remember if got an email confirmation, I just checked to see if the DD had gone out as usual. I know I definitely didn't do anything and it all just automatically renewed onto the next year X0
