More selling of household contents today netted me 160 so total of 1068 so far. I have someone coming by tomorrow to pick up a job lot of vases.
I also agreed a sale of our bicycle shelter and sent some more CDs and books off to this company who buys them. The CDs were actually in the bin bag ready to go out for the refuse collection, so I fished them out, listed them and I will have 'earned' 20. I'll count I t though when it hits the bank.

I also checked out quidco and resurrected my account for when I have to sign up for electricity and telecoms when we move. I'm finding the choice of suppliers a bout confusing to be honest so a bit more research is needed!

Another great month for you then gien - what currency unit are you quoting in ? I can't quite relate it to GBP £1 ? :o

    So far £570.24/£725

What a brilliant win! Well done:T:beer:

I used to enter all the comps in Chat, Take a Break and other mags and not only did I never win a bean (and I did hundreds of comps over about 5 years:o) I didn't know of anyone else who did either.
Great to hear that someone we 'know' has had a nice win:j

    It comes from "Dispute @ P**p** .co.uk "

When I go to my account, it has about the right amount of money in it & I note it is at P**p**.com

There don't seem to be any restrictions on it and no "Open cases" abnd I'm loathe to follow that link - Moreover there doesn't seem to be any way I can ask them whether it's real, or report a "phishing " - Any assistance gratefully appreciated !

PS - teh stars on the "REF NO" are mine x
PPS - The space between the "P" and the "a" - first word of line 2 of teh message is NOT mine - it came in nthe original :(
PPPS I also note on the last line it is p**p*I - Not "L"

I haven't seen this before but it looks decidedly 'iffy' to me. I'm sure there's a way to report what you think might be spoof emails to Paypal. Will see if I can find out what to do.

In the meantime, don't click on any links:eek:
  • I found this. Any help to you?

By the way, it's perfectly safe to click on my links;)

I work in Swiss Francs, so it's about 1.5 CHF to each GBP. S0 1000 francs is about 660 pounds. I just keep it in Francs to keep it easy for me since I spend in francs at the moment too. Also, everything here is a LOT more expensive than in the UK (but people earn more so it's relative). So it seems like a lot of money I'm making but relatively it's not so much
Also remember that I am clearing my house so I'm selling large amounts of furniture which is definitely not normal! In August when we have moved house I will be struggling to make any money I think and then I shall be looking at signing up for all the surveys, freebies etc.

Another 30 for some vases today so 1098
    Trying to keep in budget.

it's a scam to get your paypal details so they can wipe your account.

Whenever I get an email from paypal, even genuine ones, where they address me by name, full name too, not first name. And the english is not stilted or not quite right, I never click through anything. I always go directly to paypal and log into my account and check anything from them.

Well done for posting as this will be a good warning to any others that receive this and think it is legit. :A

Used a 10% discount code today on some clothes so that saved me £2.90
But then I had a complaint on EBay to say the item I'd sent was the wrong size, complete oversight on my side which I was gutted about because that item could have went for a lot more, so I just refunded the whole amount back and told them to keep it. So minus £5.50
    =£70.24

Then I received a cheque for £500 for a competition I entered in Chat magazine. I knew I'd won but wasn't expecting it for at least 6 weeks.

So I'm going to increase my target to £25 a day to keep me motivated.

    So far £570.24/£725

    congratulations! lovely win.

  • Feeling very sleepy today, I doubt much/any moneymaking will get done today:o. Was up most of the night waiting for a phone call to collect OH from the airport. Take-off kept being delayed because of mechanical problems:eek:. I'm glad I stayed at home and set off when he phoned to say they were actually boarding rather than go early and wait there. I used to like wandering around at airports but it's usually just a temptation to spend money I can't afford nowadays:eek:

Just reporting £6 received from an international postal survey.
