My moneymaking seems to have ground to a halt this past few days:(. Like a few of you, there's money stuck in the pipeline. Well done to anyone who has actually received anything, it looks as if it's turning out to be a good month:beer:
Thanks for the information about PA, Lynne. I haven't had many problems myself (apart from never being eligible for anything:o) but I know lots of people have had a very frustrating time on there recently. Here's hoping they get it sorted as their surveys are great:T
Aesop, that's a fantastic result to sell something as soon as you list it:T. It's happened for me a couple of times on Amazon (over a few years though) but never on eBay. More likely I get no interest in a whole week that an auction runs on there:(.
Am going to charity shop later today with some unsold eBay stuff, I've had some very disappointing results on there recently:mad:. I've tried carbooting it but it's fairly fragile stuff and all the packing and transporting it to and fro isn't doing it much good. Saw a sign in their window last week saying they badly needed more donations so they are very welcome to mine. Being so hard-up I feel bad I don't support them by buying much there these days:o.
Lovely sunny morning here, I hope it is for all of you too:j0 -
Morning guys
Been very busy the last few days but not a massive amount to add. My daughter gave me a £20 Amazon voucher that she found in her room. Was a gift from 2 years ago which she hadn't used! Cashed out £8.30 from TCB. Think there may have been something else but not sure what.
Keep up the good work everyone
Back later

By the way, it's perfectly safe to click on my links;)
Thank you for supplying that link CBC - much appreciated
I've thought before, just how clickable your links are !0 -
it's a scam to get your paypal details so they can wipe your account.
Whenever I get an email from paypal, even genuine ones, where they address me by name, full name too, not first name. And the english is not stilted or not quite right, I never click through anything. I always go directly to paypal and log into my account and check anything from them.
Well done for posting as this will be a good warning to any others that receive this and think it is legit. :A
You're right of course Aesop.
That e-mail (Page 10) was quite disturbing and I came quite close to following the link, which is also quite disturbing because I am quite "suss" about such things as a rule.
What really disturbs me is that these people are, as you say, trying to clear our our accounts and steal our money. This has now become so common, that we accept it as a normal part of life whereas in truth, it is akin to someone attacking your front door with a crowbar in order to try and gain access to your possessions.
All we are told is "don't do it" by the likes of Pp. I sent the e-mail as per CBC's post and asked for an acknowledgement that it wasn't from Pp - Nothing - diddly squat - but they still want me to link my bank accound and Cc to their site to put me at greater risk.
It seems we are expected to just "be compliant and not complain. Don't object and tell us everything about yourself so we can sell your personal details on ...."0 -
I think PP are a bit hit and miss about acknowledging spoof email information, Procrastinater. Whenever I've forwarded anything to them they either acknowledge pretty much straight away or, more likely, never! I expect they get so many these days they've got a bit blase about keeping us in the loop.0
