How to clean grout?

I've got some dark marks on my white grout in the shower and also the beginnings of some black mould on the sealant down the sides. Are they any good ways to get rid of this?

I've used a old toothbrush and bleach.

If that doesn't work then you are going to have to remove the sealant and replace it.

no need to rip out your own grout, I had this problem. Firstly use some bleach or mould killer on the stained grout then buy a grout whitening pen or it may come in a tube from b&q or other diy store and all you do is paint it on and allow it to dry. easy peasy - have fun x

Ive looked at the other threads and no mention of this paint method. Has anyone else tried it?

Grout is not water proof so you will always have the issue. If you have not waterproofed your shower you can have major issues.

The best way now without starting again is to colr the grout with an epoxy. The only way you stop the water penetration is by doing it this way. A paint again will not help unless it is epoxy based....
