A revisit to this thread as I am now changing over to Virgin. I've got my PAC code from Orange but when I rang Virgin to give it to them they said that I need to go and buy a Virgin SIM card before they can port my phone to Virgin. When I switched from Virgin to Orange a couple of years back I don't remember needing to buy a new SIM card so I thought I'd just check on here that I've got it right before I go and buy one. Also, any tips on where to buy please? Thanks.
    (Still love the 6300 BTW!!!!)

I believe that you can get a free sim card from Virgin megastores, it won't have any credit on it.

Other than that, they have an offer of a free sim card with £5 credit, but you will have to wait a week or two for it to be delivered.
Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.

If you want for cost of postage I can provide you with a new/sealed/unused virgin sim which should get either £10 or £15 credit added to it when it is activated, drop me a PM ...
Used my MB profits to trade London for Cyprus ...

If any one is interested I have an unwanted Brand new 6300 (Orange) which I've received as an upgrade.
You can PM me for details.
