My previous cat loved newspapers, not wise to read one on the floor, she'd come along and sit on it. Mind you, sometimes, I'd cover her in sheets of it, she would emerge, turn around and then dive back in!

She is really awful at the moment though. We have the cat frenzy toy, with the ratatouille attachment and also two birds. She is so hooked on the game that as soon as I sit down she starts pestering me to play it. She sits at my feet looking intently at me and cries in a high pitched voice for me to play. She does amazing leaps and when she catches it she drops it so I can move it again. I play with her but as soon as I stop to read or go on the laptop she is there again pleading. If I ignore her she puts out a paw and pokes me on the leg as if to say come on now. If I still ignore her she sticks her claws in my leg. Sometimes we play for half an hour and she still wants to play. I thought cats slept a lot but she seems to hardly ever sleep.

She's a bengal what do you expect ? Ours is almost 15 with early stage kidney failure and still pesters me to play, biting me if I don't comply. She does now sleep more than she did as a younger cat. Would I have another Bengal? I don't think so, much as I love her. They're not your typical cat!

We had a bit of a setback two nights ago. My husband left a pack of toilet rolls on the landing which I did not notice and when I got up in the morning the whole 9 pack had been destroyed. Half the plastic was missing and I still haven't found it. Hope it is not inside the cat. I found a bit of plastic in the litter tray! One of the torn up toilet rolls I found downstairs behind the kitchen door. I agree with you Marmaduke they are hard work. My aunt used to have a big ginger tom called Marmaduke!
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best
