How Can I Stop This Behaviour?

My Bengal cat has a thing about toilet rolls and kitchen rolls. If someone forgets to put the kitchen roll away next time we enter the kitchen the floor will be covered with a terrible mess of paper. She completely destroys them.
Its the same with toilet rolls. I have a covered container for the spare ones but the ones on the holders are at risk. If the shower room or bathroom door is left open then she will rip apart the toilet roll. She even attacks new packs through the plastic as soon as they are brought into the house if I don't get them away quickly enough. I keep trying to hide the packs, I don't have a cupboard to put them in but there is nowhere she can't reach.
I have tried buying scented toilet rolls but it makes no difference. Its like a magnet to her as soon as the door is opened. She makes a beeline for the paper. I have to open the bathroom door at times after someone has had a shower because the room is prone to mould. Not only that but when my hubby or my son get up in the night to use the bathroom they quite often forget and leave the door open.
She does not rip the carpets or furniture but does like to bite along the edge of cardboard boxes. The only other thing she attacks is milk cartons and she will hole them and drink the milk if she gets a chance. I am wise to that now though and put the milk straight into the fridge so it is not such a problem but this is costing me a fortune in kitchen and toilet rolls.
My husband refuses to fit covered toilet roll holders and I am not practical enough to do it myself. So how can I stop her? I tell her off and she runs when she sees me as she knows I don't like it but I would never hurt her. She is the softest most timid daft affectionate Bengal in the world but toilet rolls bring out the worst in her.

The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best

My 2 year old cat does this too, no kitchen roll or toilet roll is safe. He finds great joy in shredding them, I've had cats all my adult life and never had another cat that did this.
Sorry I can't help with a solution0 -

It actually looks quite funny when she does it and I have to remember to be cross. I did buy her a chew toy but although she liked chewing on it their was no change in her behaviour. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
Mine used to do this, nothing managed to get her to stop. However, as she got older she decided it just wasnt the in thing to do anymore and stopped herself.
I could never tel mine off really for doing it, as it is funny to watch...:)
You should tape the cat drinking out of the milk carton. That would be good for an advert..... the one where cats may get thumbs...Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0 -
Have you tried shutting the door to the bathroom?0

Have a penalty box. Whoever leaves the bathroom door open pays a fine of the cost of new toilet roll.0

I shut it all the time but others leave it open and I have to leave it open when someone takes a shower. I'd love an extractor fan in there. There is an extractor fan in the shower room so the door is easier to keep shut. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -

I don't have any photos of her with the shredding. Will try to take one but here is the culprit (taken in November). Most of the photos of her are on my phone but I have lost the lead to upload them from that as phone is about 5 years old.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
