  • I have just seen your post about payroll. I have everything crossed for you. If you don't, you may be able to request a bridge loan of about half your expected wages which they will automatically take out the next pay run but will give you a buffer if you don't have many funds. But again, timing is important so if you feel you need this, don't delay!

Those are good savings. I usually save my nectar points for xmas as I can spend in argos so good for the kids usually. Sadly, I don't have a lidle or an Aldi near me - its all waitrose and M&S food. probably why my food bill is so high  Sounds like you are doing well despite the challenges you are facing. :) good luck

We are up to limit on all credit cards which upsets me as it's impacting on dh credit score which i need to keep good for a car purchase when the time comes.
I have usually finished my Christmas shopping by now so i'm feeling a bit unsettled about that.
I have done most of DS's i just need to get x box games but worse case i could get theese in Dec pay from a supermarket?
Food wise for Christmas we are going to mil and I don't go overboard so it will prob be same amount as our weekly shop more or less just different.
I have to put cash aside for my Christmas works party for bus and drink i have my outfit :). DH party is after Christmas so that's good as it will come out of Dec pay.
I have a meal out on the 6th DEc and the 14th so may have to cancel the 14th?? I will see how i'm doing.
