Ok back again!!:j I never ever stop trying to cut back and save money it's just instilled into me now. I am awful though for forward planning too much and then getting overwhelmed.
My next plan in May holidays in the uk. I have luckily paid for a holiday abroad in July which was tough and really i should save the money then pay for a holiday rather than book and panic paying it off at the detriment of other things!
I am ashamed to say some well a lot went on cc!!
This last weekend has been good for us really as we have had a certain amount to use and then no means of getting extra money so we really thought about how we used our budget!
DHand DS feel hard done by as we have had to wait a week for things but we have still been able to go away for a week by the sea and even eat out once!
DS thinks we are poor now as we have to wait until Monday for payday for things!
They have no idea do they!!
So back to May there will be a trip away to somewhere DS has wanted to go for a while so i will book that through topcashback!!
I am selling my thinner clothes on ebay as i have come out as "fat" so they can go!!:rotfl:
Off for a fishfinger sandwich now and i may pop back with some more musing  luck you !
see you later btd0 -

HI all! Well i have taken the hopefully less stressful job ad it's only for a year so i really need to buckle down now. I'm off for a week now and it's usually a really spendy week so i will try to cut back where i can , starting now with having a good breakfast so i dont have to stop for lunch!
be back soon!0 -
HI all. We all had a lovely half term break and was spendy but not as extravagant as previous years!
New job ,well it's less money but as i said hopefully less stress and certainly more holidays! I hope there is a job with enough hours for me atthe end of the year! ITs covering maternity leave so hopefully the lady will be having a lovely time with her baby and want to come back 2 days a weeklol
I am due to be paid in Nov but i suppose it's of my payrole forms go in on time so could have a long wait until Dec eeekk i'm sure they can submit on a weekly run also so should be ok?
3/4 of my Christmas shopping done so I will finish the rest in Nov pay.
melas planned for the week and no outings now until Dec parties
Should be the making of a mse few weeks.....0 -
I did ds a pasta bake instead of his usual takeaway on a sat, he's usually so hungry by the time he gets home he doesn't really care as long as it's food!
I resisted a bottle of wine so £5 saved there! This is something i need to cut back on as in my last job i was in the habit of 4 times a week drinking! I want to drink on a fri now only to lose weight and save money!0 -
Welcome back(?) to your diary BTD. Looking forward to catching some of your MSE ideas.
I have recently remembered how versatile pasta is and enjoying some experimentation with various dishes. Have also tried to limit takeaways but still in process of sorting out my kitchen to make it more user friendly.
Well done on resisting the wine. I have tried to avoid alcohol lately as I just don't like the way I feel when drinking anymore (showing my age lol) and, like yourself, trying to shed a few lbs while saving the £'s.
good luck.Proud to be Member of BSC #92Hoping to get debt free again :wall::heart2: working hard to make my daughters proud :heart2:0 -
