Talk Talk Deal Problem

Hi. I'm new to the forum and hoping you might be able to advise me.
I've signed up for a 12 month TalkTalk deal through Money Savings Expert which comes with a £75 Love2Shop voucher. However, the TalkTalk confirmation email says the deal is for 18 months! Talk Talk has promised to send me another email from a supervisor saying it is for 12 months only and the customer services rep says it also says this on my account which she can see. Does that sound right? Would you be worried? I'm just wondering how I can complain to MSE and ask them to fix the problem for customers.
Thanks.
Sharon

I am the official company representative of Talk Talk. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. I have written to you on Twitter. In fact, I have become so frustrated with the incompetence I am receiving that I have also written to your CEO. I would like an email confirming that I am on a 12 month only deal and that I can leave after 12 months without any penalties. This is not a difficult request! So far, no one has sorted this out for me despite spending nearly an hour on the phone, tweeting, emailing and posting here. This is appalling customer service. Please don't just reply with an unhelpful standard comment. I would like this actioned and an email sent. If I don't receive the email I in the next 48 hours I will cancel the contract.0

Interesting, do talktalk customers have to have a Twitter account in order to get questions answered or complaints dealt with?0

Your CEO's office is now dealing with it. I am going to make a complaint about the rep and supervisor I spoke to who didn't carry through on their promise to sort it out. Very dissatisfied with the service I have received. I have come back to you against my better judgement and will decide in the next few days whether to cancel my order. I shouldn't have to give you my Twitter name in order for this to be sorted out when I have given you my account details. Why aren't you and your colleagues empowered to use initiative?0
