You are very lucky with these little wins that you keep having on the lottery and Ernie, we never win anything:mad:
I hope you have a great week off, the weather is forcast to be lovely this weekend:)1 -
I dragged the boys out for a walk along the Thames today as the weather was glorious. They bickered a fair bit on the way but they were really calm this evening so I think it did some good. I'm a great believer in fresh air and daylight rather than them hibernating in front of a screen.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

Sounds lovely. Glad you've got some time off..that schedule is pretty daunting. I am generally a 6:30-19:00 girl which is hard enough.. and I don't work full time usually..
Keep posting, it's good to hear from you xxMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

That is a daunting schedule. Did similar in younger days and it doesn't leave time for much else does it?Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Hello everyone. I'm back at work after having a some time off. We went camping in the New Forest as the Gnomeboys were really keen (Mr Gnome and I were a bit less gung ho!) We had a great time. The boys were delighted with the New Forest ponies that wandered freely through the campsite even the stubbornly persistent one that was trying to steal our breakfast. Shoving him away didn't work we had to resort to flapping a blanket at him to get him to shift a few feet - he was friendly but determined - Mr Gnome and I used to ride when we were kids so we could see he wasn't a threat to anything other than the toast.:rotfl: I think some of the children on the site must have thought I was a misery when I told them not to feed the ponies but you could see that they could start aggressively seeking food from campers if they got used to being fed.
Camping was a MSE break as well as we already had the tent and the boys were happy to walk in the forest and picnic with only the promise of an ice cream at the other end.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

I've been MSE this week with breakfast and lunch taken to work each day. I am waiting for my NW Regular Saver to mature this week so I can see how much interest is available for the pots. I will open another one and start feeding the money back in.
Mr Gnome tried to poison me yesterday;). I got in from work, saw the kettle was full and hot so made myself a cuppa, in full view of Mr Gnome (this is important). I take a mouthful and think this tastes very very wrong. I asked Mr Gnome who looks up and says that he has put vinegar and water in the kettle to clean it and was just about to rinse it out. It would have been good to know that prior to making my drink . Sometimes he is on his own planet...:rotfl:MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

I've been shuffling money this morning. My NW regular saver matured so £37 sent to each of the pots. I've opened a new one and started moving the money back into it
I've brought my lunch to work today so hopefully a pretty MSE today. It's payday next week so there will be a bit more shuffling over the next few days. (and some spreadsheet fiddling )MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

It was lovely. It was good to slow down and do simple things. Even cooking meals is more fun when you are doing it outside. Some people in the neighbouring tent left cups on their camping table and the ponies had great fun knocking them over and licking the contents off the table. The campsite did warn you not to leave stuff outside but they must have forgotten.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000
