Boo to Bronchitis - hope you are feeling better soon. The weather appears to have brightened up here too after a week of rain. Have a good weekend x1

Thank you everyone for the good wishes. I am on the mend but still taking things slowly. Its a long time since I've had anything as bad as that so I hope its a few years before it happens again!
Not much MSE news other than I haven't really been spending and I won £3 on the thunderball.:T:D
I've been doing some surveys whilst I was ill so I am over £20 on OP and YG.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

Payday has been and gone (it was nice whilst it lasted:D)
I swept £13 the day before payday, my standard £235 and an extra £20 to get the mortgage below £250K for tomorrow. Total OP this month is £379.
Tomorrow I will officially record my mortgage figure for May and it should be the end of my £40K in 40 months challenge, nine months ahead of schedule.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

That is a tremendous achievement, particularly with a relatively young family. I didn't start making any headway until my two were off "the payroll "
Well done and have a great weekend : )1 -
Nine months ahead of schedule is amazing, well done1

Hello everyone
I had a bit of time off over half term so I am just catching up. I reached my May target of below £250K at £249,984.94.
My next goal is below ...£248K:eek::rotfl:
Its not as bizarre as it seems...honest! £248K is 80% of the original value so below £248K means I have paid off 20% of the mortgage. I should achieve that by July.
I have some dividends paid this month, I've received one lot and I am waiting for a second smaller amount so there will be some extra OP this month.MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000

Well done on the progress I like the idea of targets too. Hoping I can get to £140k on the mortgage by November as well as keeping on clearing my CCs, sort myself out for the big holiday etc. So will have to be focussed
