We kept a litter tray out for him for a long time in case he ever needed it, but when I noticed the thick layer of dust that had settled over it decided to put it away.
Rain or hail, thunder and lightening - nothing will stop him using his rightful toilet patch underneath the overgrown shrub in our garden.
This is the same as my two older cats - as soon as they had access to the outside, they never used the tray again - and will not entertain the idea. Even if I have had to keep them in - I swear they have saved it all for when they were allowed out again!
Moose has no issues going outside - but he just won't go out in the rain. He acts as if it's a poisonous substance!ENFP - AssertiveOfficially in a clique of idiotsSmoke me a kipper; I'll be back for breakfast0 -
First Cat Timmy wouldn't dream of going 'inside the house' - he preferred the drain outside - until he had to be kept indoors and HAD to use a litter tray. Upon which he decided it was far more convenient. and we didn't get woken up to let him out.
Second Cat Nicki had to be taught to use a litter tray (that was fun!) - but as he was a rescue with FIV he had no choice. he took to it fairly quickly though.0
