Hi again girls, I'm back. My BFP turned into a miscarriage, so as soon as I have actually stopped bleeding (sorry TMI) then hubby and I have to try again.

GracieP - how are you doing after your mc? TTCing again or waiting a bit?

My boss has given me the week off so all I have to do is look after myself and get better. I veer from pragmatic and practical to inconsolably sobbing but I'm sure that is normal and will pass as time goes on.

Our pastor came round to pray with us last night and he said our LO is in Heaven with God, as God doesn;t make mistakes and each baby is wanted and loved from the moment of conception, and that has helped comfort me.

I feel quite empty right now - my tummy has shrunk right back to flat, my boobs are back to normal, and yet nothing is normal just at the moment.

I am taking comfort that I can get Pg, that there is no reason I shouldn;t carry a baby as womb and ovaries are normal, and that I fell PG v quick so hopefully will do so again.

I am glad you are getting comfort and support at home, God will look after you and your LO however far apart you are.

A little time and then you will back with the rest of us ttc, but don't rush it, make sure you are happy and ready emotionally more than physical as i believe this is the toughest thing to do. We are all thinking of you.

Hi skintchick, I'm so sorry to hear your news. It's been 3 weeks yesterday since mine and I feel like I've been through the mill. The first week I was very up and down. Well actually I was more like down and more down. I felt either grief-stricken and a bit panicky, or just washed out sad. And perversely while I longed for the bleeding and pain to stop once it started to tale off I felt sad all over again.

After a week and a half I felt less consuming grief, but a lot of anger and still a panicky feeling. And I started feeling really desperate that I should start trying again immediately, while my husband was feeling that he couldn't bear to. At some stage last week I started to feel a peace about it. I took a really long walk, which helped clear my head. And the next day I took a long bath and it was the first time I felt good, really good, instead of just coping. Since then I've been up and down, the sadness is still there but it isn't all-consuming.

Both my husband and I now feel ready to try again, and we would have been this weekend if it wasn't for my fall on Saturday. We've decided that I'm not going to go back to temperature taking and checking my LH levels until at least the new year. I don't think I could cope with the rollercoaster ride of that just yet, taking my folic acid is as much as I can countenance.

I hope this helps and isn't just me rambling. It will get better, but it will be hard. And somedays you'll be feeling better and something on tv, a baby on the street or a dream you have will knock you back down. But you'll get stronger day by day. I do recommend doing something for your baby. We had a little ceremony for ours, tbh neither of us felt much better at the time we did it, but it feels better in retrospect. We burnt what I'm sure was our baby and scattered the ashes, but if that's not for you perhaps a service in your church could be dedicated to your baby?

Oh no Skintchick - I am so sorry to hear that.

I'm glad you have a nice pastor who is being supportive, and that you have found comfort in his words.
