This US site has an incredibly specialised forum, and excellent book (which inspired the site)

I found www.babycentre.co.uk and their articles and forums very useful when TTC.
When you do fall pregnant, the weekly email that tells you what is happening to you and baby are brilliant.
I'm now getting the new baby emails, which have useful tips and advice in for both baby and me.Here I go again on my own....0 -

hey durham girl,
Im 23 aswell and have been ttc for 29 cycles! i have had one mc last november but other than that nothing. And because we have lived in cyprus most of our ttc time, the doctors there were reluctant to do ANY tests!! Now were in germany they seem to be more pro active - well from what they have said, but .......... they lost our notes and we have had to wait ages for them to find them! Now they have found them hubby is goin away - ideal timing lol!
Have you been to the Dr's yet??

I can recommend using the free temping chart on fertilityfriend.com as it can really point out the months when you don't ovulate so you can save the money and heartbreak over pregnancy tests.
We finally got pregnant after a year of trying through basal body temping and our first month using pre-seed gel (it keeps the little swimmers alive and swimming for longer!)
Good luck to all ttc x0 -
We took fourteen months to conceive our first, and two years on and off trying for our second. I then started using a digital bbt thermometer and we fell second cycle(which unfortunately resulted in a miscarriage) and fourth cycle (now nearly 16 weeks!). As well as telling when I was ovulating, I found it invaluable for the end of the month. As so many symptoms of your period coming are the same as pregnancy it helped in that if my temperature didn't stay high up to my due day, I wasn't pregnant, and it stopped some of the symptom spotting. It also eased me into my period as the temp would drop a bit one day and then lower the next day when I came on. It gave me a little time to get used to the idea and didn't feel so crushed. In fact when I was pregnant my temperatures went up to a third level both times so it was pretty obvious. I'd recommend it and it helps to know your body rather than it being rigid in having to do it on such a such day.
I used the information on Babycentre too- great stuff.
Good luck!Annabeth Charlotte arrived on 7th February 2008, 2.5 weeks early0 -
I recommend http://www.pregnancyforum.co.uk/forum/ as a great resource - lots of moms and people TTC who are fab at answering questions and providing reassurance. It's always nice to know if someone else has had the same symptoms or has used the same methods, tests, etc.
Good luck to everyone TTC.0 -
hey Girls
Thanks for the advice, I am an old hand at the ttc game lol, there isnt much i havent tried i have done all the websites, was on FF for over a year, temping everyday etc but stopped after the MC in november with the doctors advice, and after a 21 day prog test to confirm i am ovulating and because of my obsessiveness, i "know" when im ovulating, i get ovulation cramps 99% of the time and get sore (.Y.)'s almost as soon as i have!!
What things have you girls tried?? i have tried SMEP, B6, pineapple, Epo before O everything including handstands after bd!! lol
Now were just letting nature take its course and not stressing too much, we have very little time together these days with hubby always away and due to go to iraq soon all the time we have is "quality" time not all focused on getting preggo.
And all the same TOM i think ill just pass on your offer! :rotfl:

Hi Pixiegirl,
You do sound old hand at it, just like I used to be! I was a moderator for a TTC board a little while ago and got some amazing tips, just trying to remember them now! Have you tried eating grapefruit between AF and OV, it helps the ewcm get into the right consistancy for the wrigglers, something to do with acidity I think. There is also a cough medicine that you can get that has similar properties as this, I think it's called Robitsun. Before you try that though google the cough medicine and ttc so you can see when to take it.
Good luck!
