Vendor - not accepted an offer you didn't like the buyer?

It's possible the lady was quiet because she was uncomfortable doing viewings, regardless who for.
If she was expecting the agent too, then dealing with a situation she felt unprepared for might have left her with a mix of emotions, from anger to embarrassment.0 -

These were my thoughts too.
Not everyone feels comfortable having strangers in their home, much less having to try and "sell" it's features to viewers.
I know a lot of people loathe estate agents and think selling houses is money for old rope but the ability to sell is a skill not possessed by everyone.
Perhaps the vendor just couldn't cope.0 -
Nothing to update - put an offer in first yesterday morning with details of how 'proceedable' we are mortgage in place/deposit/sols.
Nothing...... tumbleweed.....
House has been on since August last year so I am surprised not to hear anything - but as a FTB i am not sure if this is normal. Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -

People with real money often don't feel the need to show it, so that buyer with a tatty tshirt and unfashionable shoes may well have 7 figures stacked ready to spend.
Looking like you have no money is the best way to get left in peace by sales staff.0 -

Called the estate agent to see what's going on.
Almost word for word:
'I feel I must manage your expectations regarding this property. The occupier appears not to be motivated to sell as the property is in dispute after a relationship breakdown'
That will explain why its been on the market since last August in a really hot market round here. Please note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
Look at the likes of Richard Branson, hes got a few bob but from his outwards appearance, he just looks like your average joe
So yep you should never judge a book by it cover but many do
The bizzare thing is clothes do make a huge diffrence to your mental state ie: if you look good then you feel more confident and tend to have better self esteem.....“People are caught up in an egotistic artificial rat race to display a false image to society. We want the biggest house, fanciest car, and we don't mind paying the sky high mortgage to put up that show. We sacrifice our biggest assets our health and time, We feel happy when we see people look up to us and see how successful we are”

call from the agent today. The lady wants me to increase my offer (no other offers on the table) by 50K other wise she's out of pocket when the assets are divided.
