@RuthnJasper It was not a sordid affair. He was a bad husband who quit his job to sponge from her. All he did was sit on his fat !!! playing video games. She wanted more from a man and I gave her more. Can you blame a woman for wanting a real man?

The grown-up approach would have been to divorce the 'bad husband' before finding herself a 'real man'.

If a husband signed a prenup before he married his wealthier wife

    He's a fool
It's taken me years of experience to get this cynical

I'd not disagree with the above - especially if he's been totally unaware that his wealthy wife has been having an affair with one of her subordinate work colleagues 'for years'..

If a husband signed a prenup before he married his wealthier wife then they divorced after she had a lengthy affair would she still keep hold of all her assets including the sports car she purchased for him?

I doubt if she would keep all of her assets. I am assuming they were married for quite a long time, given the reference to the lengthy affair? Pre-nups are not legally binding in this country.

How much she would get to keep would depend on a number of factors (could his solicitor argue that he was supporting her career by looking after the house, for example - this has happened in cases where the wife gave up her job and stayed home).

It's impossible to pre-empt on here what the final outcome will be.

I have a prenup with my hubby, he's far far wealthier than me. I couldn't have cared less but he wanted one. I made sure there was a clause in that if we split due to his infidelity the pre nup wouldn't be used as reference.

Did they have any such clauses?
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
