General question nothing to do with me

If a husband signed a prenup before he married his wealthier wife then they divorced after she had a lengthy affair would she still keep hold of all her assets including the sports car she purchased for him?

It would depend on whose name the car is now in. It could have been considered a gift so it would now be his to do with as he pleases. If it's still in her name with him as a named driver on the insurance then she could possibly take it back. The value of the car and anything else acquired after the marriage and therefore the pre-nup would be taken into account on divorce though and split equally.

A pre-nup can be considered in divorce but it cannot leave one partner penniless on divorce.

    My advice...get legal advice.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

For a general question, there's some pretty specific detail there.

Why are you asking the question if it's nothing to do with you?

Is it something to do with your affair with your boss?

Pre-nups have no validity in English law. Bad luck

The husband has the sports car.
I don't think the OP is married, so maybe it's the boss who wants to keep the car she bought for the husband.

OP isn't but OP's female boss is - I'm assuming he fancied getting his hands on the sports car as part of his affair with boss but now finds bosses (ex) Husband wants to keep it

I think this ^^ is the most relevant point.
