Hi all
I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I just realised that my username needs changing. I've had the same one - "I'm just a poor boy" for years.
I've just discovered however, that it come up in a sidebar as "I'm just a poo..."! This is pretty funny, but not what I intended.
Any suggestions?

Can I change my username?
In most circumstances, we don't allow this.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk eg you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something which gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email the Forum Team your current username, the email address you registered with and three alternative usernames in order of preference.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. With only 38 posts in 10 years it would be easier for you to just set up a new user0

I'm sure you won't mind me having a chuckle at that!
PM me three choices of alternative username in order of preference and I'll change it for you!!!
Talk to you soon.

I'm just a poor boy :-
Nobody loves me.
IJPB initials instead of I'm just a poor boy.
Celeron.
Midas.
Strange Dude.
The list could go on here and a username really is not worth worrying about in the grand scheme of things.0 -

On the green format, which is my format of choice, it shows up in full.
However, if it had no spaces, eg Imjustapoorboy , you'd probably see more of it.
It is a shame that on the new format, the usernames do get truncated a lot.
A couple of people have mentioned that they're quite sad about that.
Am glad I've got a short name!
(Mind you, with a name like I'm just a poo, you'd always be remembered! I'd keep it, if I were you!)

There are a number of issues with the latest style of this site, but seeing your name in full does not appear to be one of them for me
However, I would certainly recommend that you revert to the old 'green' style of this site - the one that existed before the powers that be decided to impose a [STRIKE]broken[/STRIKE] improved version, despite many users here complaining to the contrary. :cool:0 -
Thanks for your replies everyone
