Not wishing to sound like your Mum but.... are you making cake to avoid the unfinished thesis? Or is it to sustain you while you do finish it? :)
    SL

Maybe both.... When you have a project like this going for over 3 years you don't want to entirely put your life on hold for it. But I will keep baking to a minimum, especially as the chocolate orange thing didn't turn out well anyway!

Managed to buy YS for the first time in AGES, and posh food from Waitrose too: 15 free range eggs (49p), 4 paninis (10p), sliced "white with wholemeal" bread (29p), stri fry pack (19p), pate (39p) and french onion soup (10p) :money: I'll freeze some and shuffle around the meal plan for others

Bahh spent £30 in Tosco - first time I've been there for nearly 2 years - SO expensive compared to Aldo - emergency bbq called by mate, we were out when we got the bat call, so Tosco was the closest..... That included wine btw :)
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Realised I had no potatoes or broccoli, also bought two large loaves at 25p each which will be sliced and frozen and will last for the rest of the week.

Spent £31 so far. I must confess to spending a few quid on ice cream and going out - it's that season!!

We're at £102.95 at the moment. There were a few bits on offer so we've stocked up on cleaning/laundry products and the food cupboard and freezer are now full.

Hoping to get quite a few NSDs over the rest of the month because it's just fresh products that we need at the moment.

The BF is getting involved now, especially since we put an offer in for our first home.

Thanks so much to everyone that posts - you're giving us plenty of tips and hints!
