Hello All,
I'd really like to join the challenge, set myself a £75 goal from now until 27th May when I get paid. This is for me, a dog and 4 chickens. The dog has eveything she needs but I buy fresh vegetables for the chickens each week, usually about £5-£10 worth.
I bought my house in November 2014, in the run up to it I cleared all my credit cards and saved as much as possible but since moving in i've let eveything go. My cards are back up to the maximums and my cupboards and freezers are full to bursting! Time to get crack on with some old-styling to eat what I have and get those cards paid off! Here's to getting back on the wagon :beer:May Grocery Challenge - £34.58/£75

Had a little toddle round Aldo today, spent £43.25 and that included 2 weeks worth of cat food for our 4 moggies which cost about £7-8 so human items cost £35/6 - I,m pretty chuffed with that as includes needed bin bags, spray cleaner, shower gel and hayfever tabs - I can tell the teens are back homeNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

£10 on dog food, it should have been £11.40 but was on offer - I think I will stock up while the offer is on.

Hi everyone. First big shop done for £40.20 which I was really pleased with as it included enough ingredients for batch cooking so i should only need fruit veg and fresh bits next week.
The freezer is far from empty but its no longer ridiculously full and there is enough space to organise it better. I've done a list of what's in there and have planned the next two weeks around that.
I feel like I'm getting into the swing of this a bit better now:jOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.

Its been a busy week for me I had forgotten to update on my first weeks shop.
I did a meal plan for the month which I took me ages as my mind went blank, it was as if I had not eaten before.. trust me not the case!
Went to Aldi and M*rrisons last weekend, managed to spend £90.00, bought loads. I would've liked it cheaper but I am still in target for this month so happy days. 2nd week shopping is starting tomorrow.
We are doing slimming world, does anyone here do the same? I have found eating healthier more costly for us, could anyone give ideas on how we can cut the shopping bill but be able to stay eating healthier?Debt Free - Now time to look to the future! :T0 -
Spent £14odd on rubbish yesterday. Bit annoying. Subway, junk food, some overpriced fruit, suppose it could have been worse. Need to do a shop today, as have run out of essentials, otherwise fairly well stocked up. Have updated sig.0
