According to the last published motor insurance data from the ABI (up to Dec 2014); Admiral are 5th largest (based on Gross Written Premium) or 8th largest (based on Net Written Premium).

My this forum is full of 'keyboard warriors' and quite frankly not very friendly. I am a member of quite a few forums and this is by far the worst I've come across. Time and again new posters are rediculed, made to feel stupid, and people genuinly trying to help are attacked for no reason.
My original point was not that Admiral are the biggest or second biggest insurer, it was that not all of the largest insurers use Autoglass as the previous poster stated. My last two windscreens were fitted under Admiral insurance by National windscreens and I found them to be very good; that is my experience of actually making claims; l thought that might be useful for the OP to know. Then I find people nit-picking about whether Admiral is or isn't the largest insurer and laying into me?? !!!!!!.0 -

No-one "attacked" you. (But if you cynically edit an incorrect post you wrongly tell us to be a "fact" (with another incorrect "fact") expect to be corrected)
You repeatedly posted incorrect information, and repeatedly posted glowing reports about Admiral.
Though whilst replying aggressively and offensively to posts have ignored the point raised about what motive you have using the thread to praise admiral!0 -
I have no association with Admiral other than having car insurance with them; in fact I do not particularly like Admiral due to their policy of referring non-fault claims to Albany Assistance. However credit where credit is due, I have had very good windscreen service from Admiral in conjunction with National Windscreens.
Before I get attacked for that; I do note a previous poster had a link to a site that says Admiral use Autoglass. That may now be the case or it may be old information (they did use Autoglass in the past) but when I used them twice within the last five years it was National Windscreens OK?0 -

Where in the text you've quoted have I ridiculed a new poster?0
