SAGA car insurance WARNING

Admiral ARE the second biggest insurer of cars in the UK; fact. ..... I sometimes think people on this board just want a fight......
No one wants a "fight".
Prior to your edit to your posts #11 and #4 you had twice posted incorrectly as "fact" regarding Admiral being "the biggest company of them all" and that was corrected.
Instead of standing corrected you chose to childishly edit your posts and then suggest this "fight" nonsense
(You seem to have an axe to grind for admiral, is there a connection with them you aren't telling us about - and what measurement shows them as "second biggest" UK car insurer - Aviva are second as far as market share goes)
More on customers (and ex customers) views on admiral's "service" here:

egWHICH? rates them 33rd out of 34 for car insurance0 -

"Admiral, the UK's second biggest car insurer" or are you going to say that post is three years old and can be ignored too?0 -

His issue is you stated
"Not so, the biggest insurer of them all, Admiral, use National Windscreens; I have found them to be very good."
and then subsequently edited your toNot so, the second biggest insurer of them all, Admiral, use National Windscreens; I have found them to be very good.
It's not cricket to re edit like that.0 -
Not cricket to correct a post? Anyway I didn't realise the posting Gestapo were so active.
Admiral might well be the biggest by now; anyway whether first or second does it really matter? Going over someone's post like a legal eagle to find fault with it is pretty pointless; get a life and find something better to do. It doesn't help the OP or subsequent discussion of the topic.0 -

To be fair you did start it.
I posted a valid an accurate point that helped the OP and others reading the thread.Bear in mind that the vast majority of Insurers use the same company for windscreen replacements which is Autoglass. Your new Insurer is also likely to use them...
You responded withNot so, the biggest insurer of them all, Admiral, use National Windscreens; I have found them to be very good.
Which is not actually factually correct and even if it was, my statement that the vast majority of Insurers use Autoglass is correct.
You then re edited your post toNot so, the second biggest insurer of them all, Admiral, use National Windscreens; I have found them to be very good.
I find it somewhat ironic that your last post statesGoing over someone's post like a legal eagle to find fault with it is pretty pointless; get a life and find something better to do. It doesn't help the OP or subsequent discussion of the topic.
Which is exactly what you did with my first post to find fault with it and then ironically posted two incorrect "facts"0 -
My new car came with a key tag that says:
ACCIDENT OR GLASS DAMAGE?
Call "MITSUBISHI FIRST"
.......
"Exercise your right to have your vehicle repaired at a Mitsibishi Repair Centre using only genuine Mitsubishi parts."
.......
I expect the first thing the insurance company will do is to refuse to deal with Mitsubishi First, but in principle, I would want my windscreen to be done by Mitsubishi. Some of the botched jobs on TV consumer programs makes you cringe.0 -

Not Gestapo (offensive in it's self calling people that BTW)...you made a claim as fact and you were wrong...instead of holding your hands up you and saying you were wrong you choose to attack those who were correct...you do not look good at all! You should be embarrassed. The whole point is if your going to give advice it should be factually correct otherwise please just go write for Jackanory.0 -
