I don't mind the 2 week wait, its the 1-2 days where your waiting for AF to show up & the anticipation every time you go to the toilet that gets me.

Almost wish there was a sure way of telling after 2 weeks rather than waiting for a test to show up as positive - but then people show at different times some at 4 weeks some have to wait till 5, waiting for AF to show, is spotting AF or is it implantation. So frustrating! haha
  • Hi everyone :j I hope it’s okay if I rejoin the thread/lists, I hope you’re all well and BDing is going well!

BIG congrats too to HappyLassie, I wish you a healthy & happy 9 months! :)

As for me, I’m currently on CD8. Tried a cycle of not tracking/charting/thinking about TTC by staying off forums & not discussing it with DH etc. to see if it made a difference but unfortunately no success so I’m back lol.

We’ve got the Clearblue Digital OPKs for this month, the smiley face ones. Expensive I know, but I can’t be dealing with the coloured lines on cheapies lol I would drive myself mad trying to figure them out so I’ll cut back elsewhere to go for the CB ones. Probably not every month but hopefully won’t need them for much longer anyway. Also got some Conceive plus to use as well. So we shall see if they are worth it.

Also, what are peoples thoughts on the post OV stage, the luteal phase I think it’s called? Does anyone do anything to try and improve chances of implantation & keeping their progesterone levels up? I feel like we are BDing when I’m ovulating so I can’t help wondering what’s happening in there that it’s not catching on and whether there’s anything I can do to help it?

    x:heart2:

  • Skimper those last couple of days are a killer! Fingers crossed for you :)

Welcome back Buttermint. I must admit I know very little about the luteal phase!
  • Buttermint - since using the OPKs I noticed my luteal phase was short as I was OV on day 20 of 28! This month I took Vitamin B complex as i read online it could help lengthen it and this month had a 31 day cycle so either it was a coincidence or it worked to lengthen it. Missed my fertile week anyway so not that it made much difference haha.

Hope everyone is happy and healthy and in good spirits

Meant to be BD'ing this week as supposedly in fertile week according to app and OH decides to go and throw his back out at work he can hardly move. Oh well maybe next month lol
First Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T
  • Sorry to hear that Faith177. My OH hurt himself last week as well and was off for a few days & I felt so bad because the first thing I thought was oh no will he be okay for BDing later this month :rotfl:! Bad wife I am lol. Hope your OH feels better soon!

Just something that made me giggle yesterday, I work part time in a supermarket while studying and a customer came up to me last night and asked me ‘excuse me where are your eggs?’ And the first thought I had was to shout ‘yes good question where ARE my eggs and why won’t they fertilise?!?’ But I didn’t lol just helpfully showed him to the free range chicken version. :)

Happy hump day to you all x

Can I be moved to CD1 please :( onwards & upwards to cycle 7.
  • OH has dislocated his knee today and my initial thought was also I hope he will be ok for BD :rotfl:
Such loving partners we are haha.

Anyway he has a few days to recover whilst AF finishes up. I think this is officially the first month where we don't have anything planned over the fertile week that will get in the way! I am starting this cycle feeling positive.
