  • Wine and chocolate for me :-) cd4. FF predicting I'll ovulate around cd18.
Hope the weekend is being kind to everyone x
  • So I!!!8217;ve been looking at the Clear Blue Digital and it says you can test up to 5 days before your period is due which is what I am today but I!!!8217;m only 9dpo. I!!!8217;m so tempted to test as I actually feel like this could be the month for us. What do you guys think? Too early and hold off a little while?
  • Okay, I caved and took a Morrison!!!8217;s own brand test with today!!!8217;s FMU (I think that means first morning urine?)

Anyway..... I got the faintest positive, it is really faint and you do have to hold it to the light to see, but it!!!8217;s definitely there I think.

    What to do now?!

    Congratulations HappyLassie.
I would take another test with tomorrows FMU.
  • OH swears there!!!8217;s no line there so maybe I am just seeing things but we are off to the supermarket today so will buy another test. What does everyone think of the clear blue ones that say 1-2 weeks pregnant? I!!!8217;d be 3 weeks if I was so I!!!8217;m guessing it would definitely show?

I had two days with cheaper tests then got a digital. I wanted to see the word pregnant .
    :)
I stared at that second day test so hard before I used it so I knew anything I saw was a line.
I think you should get a digital

    Congrats HappyLassie

There is a list of different tests and their sensitivities in the pinned post at the top of this thread. Morrisons is not on the list but most own brand tests are 25mIU. The clearblue digi is the least sensitive and requires 50mIU, so if it is a faint line on a 25mIU test it might show negative because 9dpo is very early to get a positive on a digi. It counts weeks pregnant from ovulation date, rather than LMP otherwise it could be telling you you were 1-2 weeks pregnant before you had actually conceived! Superdrug own brand (the pink one) or FRER are the most sensitive tests, so I would get one of those. It should show up nice and clear if it is showing, albeit faintly, on a supermarket test.

AFM I am 8dp5dt and going completely insane. I have absolutely zero symptoms and I just feel like it hasnt worked. OH and I are like caged animals and I am sure we will only get worse up to OTD. I wish it would hurry up but I dont want it to come at the same time, because I am so scared of seeing a negative and being out for good.

Happy - congratulations! Let us know how you get on with tomorrows test!

Slothsocks - when is test day for you?

I think I am at 2dpo - I say think because I was a cycle day behind, I lost a day somewhere and when I did an opk despite telling myself I would not, but I took it on the morning of cycle day 13, which I thought was cd12. So I had a neg but had I known it was cd13 I would have tested in the evening aswell, anyway cd14 I get a positive and I had right pelvic pain but opks since have been darker than a neg but not positive.

I am not sure if it is just me but when I do get a positive on my internet cheapies they are never quite as dark or darker than the control line. They are just a fraction lighter than the control but too dark to be a neg if that makes sense, and after 2 cycles of tracking I have seen the same pattern leading up to and after a !!!8220;positive!!!8221; opk

This being said it means I am relying on my app less and less, I have two apps Ovia and some other one I do not know the name of, just as my fertile window is ending on the one, it is starting on Ovia :/

I know these are not set in stone but I input my symptoms and ov dates religiously and the still don!!!8217;t seem to fit my positive opks, And forgive me for tmi but I have tried tracking my cm but honestly I would not know where I was if that was all I could track, and tbh after BDing who knows if it is cm or sperm. Or maybe that is just me lol

So to sum that up I think I had my surge on the evening of cd13 and morning of cd14 but only caught the end of my surge due to thinking I was a cd behind where I actually was

Looking forward to a 4 day week this week! Hope time goes quick ladies xx
  • Hello all,

we have decided not to test today (10dpo) and to wait until tomorrow morning (11dpo) and just use the supermarket cheapie. I'm trying to not get too excited as i'll be understandably gutted if we get a BFN.
I've had cramps on and off all the time and i keep convincing myself that AF is on its way (due Friday) but these cramps have been there since last week. However there was a little blood when i wiped this morning (TMI) so i used a pad to make sure, but there's been nothing else so far.
My heads all over the place this week and it's only Monday....
