Sorry she got you ButterflyBabe, but at least she waited until your holiday had finished - would have been worse if she'd turned up in the middle of it. Hope your holiday was good.

Thanks Sexymouse I'm glad she waited too. The holiday was lovely, just what me and OH needed. We realised that we don't spend enough quality time together and that we must take more time out for ourselves.

We had a heart to heart whilst we were away about our baby plans and we've both decided that there is no point getting stressed about things we can't control and it will happen when it happens. Think this is why I feel ok about AF turning up as I can now start to feel positive about the start of my new cycle.

Thanks for all the replies, I really appreciate that all you guys are here to listen, especially as we haven't told anyone in rl that we're ttc. I think I'll mention to GP next week, just to ask advice & we'll take it from there. We head on holiday next week so have that to look forward to.

Had a lovely day with my friend today and her 3week old, fed her twice and had lots of cuddles. Just reminds me how much I want one, the lack of sleep and everything else aside haha!

Morning all, thanks for the welcome, amazingly, and I'm still not quite sure I believe it, I got a BFP yesterday. Retested this morning and still says positive! So, I guess I'm off to the next board then!

Hello new poster here, can I join? have been a reader of this thread for a while, decided to join today. We are on month 3 now, trying for first baby.


I have done two months of obsessively reading every single thread on the internet about falling pregnant, different symptoms you can get, when you might be ovulating etc etc and also did ovulation tests last month. Decided that this month I am going to do nothing other than try every few days. I deleted my Ovia app and stopped reading every single thread on Mumsnet, feeling more relaxed now and am of the thinking it will happen when its meant to happen. I wanted to join this thread as its fairly relaxed and easy going to read and its good to hear about other people's experiences and them going on to fall pregnant. xx
