Hi ladies.

Congratulations to those with bfps and so sorry for those who've had loses. It sucks.

This time last year I was in my tww, and went on to have my lovely son in January.

I'm hoping to join you guys soon. I'm just waiting for my cycle to return. I'm breastfeeding so don't expect it to be anytime soon. I'm just getting myself in the best place possible for ttc again, losing the baby weight, taking vitamins and baby dancing like crazy. I don't especially want to be pregnant right now, but with me breastfeeding and having an underactive thyroid it will probably take a while. I'm also struggling with some post birth issues which make BDing very difficult, some times impossible. So I doubt this will be quick or easy!

Anyone else conceived (or tried to) whilst breastfeeding?

I empathise milliebob - my AF came middle of our long weekend away. Thank god for paracetamol

So I'm back to the start again - CD2 for me today.... Here's hoping got this time around.

Milliebob That was me last month only without the holiday lol. I was a week and half late and when AF did finally turn up it was like I was being punished!!!

Tested yesterday on a cheap OPK and got a pretty dark line unfortunately me and DH had a bit of a row and so didn't BD. Now thinking that this month is a write off so feeling pretty cross with myself. Will try tonight and keep my fingers crossed I guess.

Well after my big 'joining' post and my feeling positive I received bad news on Friday. I was being let go at work.

I'm still waiting for ov there's no signs as yet but I'm expecting it to be around Friday, as I'm not temping or OPKing I'll just be going off cm and 'the signs'. It's also my last session at counselling today.

Me. DD was 8 months old and still bf. I thought I was 'safe' as AF hadn't arrived. Turns out I wasn't protected like I thought. DD2 turns 15 on Sunday.

Just back from the fertility clinic. She first assumed because I'm underweight that that would be the reason, until I told her I've always been the same and that we have a 3 year old who was conceived without trying (got my back up a bit). Anyway she took a full medical history of us both and has referred me for more blood tests, vaginal swab, X-ray and ultrasound.
She told me she doesn't think there's anything preventing us conceive and it may just take time.

CD 1 for me.

After cramping from 5dpo, spotting from 6dpo and a 8 day luteal phase, ive decided to see the GP. I'm going next Tues. I'm considering not mentioning that I'm still breast feeding, our surgery isn't exactly breast feeding friendly. This is not normal for me, breast feeding or not and I want to be taken seriously. We'll see though.

Millie good news that the ball is now rolling so to speak, although fx obvs you won't need any more tests!!

Not much happening here, managed to run out of opks & somehow misplaced my themometer, so tracking this cycle is now out the window On CD13 really strong ov pains today & yesterday, ewcm today, so think I'm prob oving atm, will keep on bd-ing, just to be sure though
