That's what I thought.

I was convinced I was pg, then AF arrived and thought nothing more of it (well nothing more than being devo'd but hopefully you get what I mean). I've had a bit stretchy cramping, different cm, sore boobs and just felt not right. I also thought I was losing the plot to even be thinking about testing but I think there is a line there and now I'm not sure. Luckily I had an appointment with the nurse this morning for something else and asked her to do a blood test. I should find out the results by Friday.

Ladies I've been a lurker for a while. I hope you don't mind me posting. I'm 38 (for the next few weeks anyway ) and my DH is 40. Things are a bit more complicated for us as he suffers from ED and has done for quite a few years. So it isn't always possible for us to try IYKWIM. I'm waiting for an appointment at the fertility clinic but I've been driving myself mad reading about the statistics of IVF etc working at my age.

This month we were able to try :T and I'm convincing myself it worked (I've heartburn and repeatedly getting trapped wind, something I never get). My head is telling me to be sensible :rotfl: but the rest of me is praying for a miracle.

Sorry to waffle...this isn't something I can really talk about in RL! I guess my question is, how do you ladies cope with the disappointment when AF arrives each month?

Rachy sorry for the double whammy with AF and job. I really hope Tuesday counselling session helped. I know people have mentioned acupuncture on here before and I was considering going myself but the thought of needles spooked me so I had a Reiki healing/balancing session and I seriously think that is what balanced my body back out and helped us. I defiantly recommending looking in to it for anyone!! Most spa's and holistic salons will have it available for similar price of a massage.

That looks good to me Athens! when you say AF arrived, was it like a normal period or lighter? I know that can happen and it can be a late implantation bleed.


I think we need to up our BD game, we have only been bd'ing a couple of times so will try a bit harder this month.

My first positive looked like that, the second was darker (next day) then did a digital on the third day too so I had it in writing and couldn't say it was my mind playing tricks.

athens I have absolutely everything crossed for you!! i did have a small implantation bleed but it was very small...we shall see!!

Bleeding wasn't small, in fact it was longer and heavier than it has been over the past few cycles.

I'm just wary I did something wrong and that's classed as an evaporation line. By Wednesday I'm normally wishing for Friday but this one can't come quick enough.

I think evap lines Athens have no colour to them where as your line is definitely pink. Have you done any other tests? xx
